FEBRUARY'S SMEARED INK DT BLOG HOP.

Well.... when you say REDRUM to me, I think of the horse, a triple grand national winner and a firm favourite of my little Grandad who died back in the '80's.
Smeared ink have a brand new set of digi images called DEAMON HORSES drawn by
IKE.
Here is my 1st project...
using one of the new digi's....

 ......and here is my 2nd... using real rubber from 'Chicks dig guns'

Both projects are pages for a book i'm making, coloured with promarkers and ink.

DE-STEMPELWINKEL on VALENTINE'S DAY.

Its a bit of a change for me today, after having the 3xday BLOODY VALENTINE hop,
its now my turn to post at DE-STEMPELWINKEL so no blood or gory.
I'm not one for celebrating Valentines day....

I like to let those I love and cherish know that every day....

but even I had to do a love heart when its my turn to post on February 14th.

This little wall hanging started life as an MDF coaster, a set of 6 in a holder for £2.... bargain!

The ribbon is recycled from our Christmas crackers....i'm keeping to my 

new years resolution...so far.

Rather pretty dont you think? 

I just adore that face.

All supplies except my cheapo hearts ans recycled ribbon  are from DE-STEMPELWINKEL.

DAY#3 of our BLOODY VALENTINE BLOG HOP.

Welcome to day #3 of the 3 day blog hop celebrating VALENTINES DAY  the SMEARED AND SMUDGED way. Dont expect lovey-dovey hearts and roses.... oh you will see hearts and roses i'm sure but they'll be 'our' kind of hearts and roses. Hopefully you have come to me from JULIA.... if you havent it doesnt matter as there is a full list of the blogs to visit below. My final offering of this hop is a gift box...all hearts and flowers  using  an image from SMEARED INK,... and one of their gorgeous digi papers... a bit of ribbon, and some beads.

 I wanted it to be one of those projects that you look at and think 'oh thats pretty''...

then look again! 

 I made the flowers from the same printed out digi image as i covered the bottom of the box with.

 Also today you'll see another project of mine at QUOTH THE RAVEN,

later in the hop.... I have altered another of the board books my girls discarded years ago.

Again I have used some of the gorgeous digi papers from SMEARED INK,

you'll see whats inside when you get to QUOTH THE RAVEN.

BLOODY VALENTINE DAY #2

Well...here I am.....back in blogland, 

although i havent actually got access to my craft room at the moment, i'm having a load of work done on this old house , including a new back entrance way, which hasnt been completed yet....so i cant get to my craftromm which is a summerhouse at the bottom of my garden.

This time, for Challenge #9 we are offering you ANYTHING GOES as the theme.
We would like to see all sorts of wonderful creativity in any format that you so desire but remember ...

 I have used ALICE for this card....coloured with promarkers, a piece of DP,

 some fancy ribbon, I wrote 'fancy a cuppa' in blue and edged it with silver.

I hope everyone had a wonderful festive season....

we in this dragons den all had a varity of coughs, colds and lergies.

On to crafty stuff.... we have a new challenge for you at 

QUOTH THE RAVEN  Quest 28 ..... 

'ANYTHING POES'.
Thou canst fashion anything which thy heart desires.. but remember ye that thy offering MUST be related to Edgar Allan POE to be considered worthy of being chosen for the Prize. Bring ye not thy fluffy, smushy if it not be POE !!!

My offering is a 2014 diary that i have altered using an image from SMEARED INK,
coloured with promarkers and copious amounts of ink added to the edges.
You have until the 6th of February to play along.... i really look forward to seeing whatever POE  art you can create.

I am pleased to tell you all that i shall be staying at SMEARED INK as a DT member for yet another term, the new team has just been announced so 2014 is looking like it'll be a good one.... please come and check out the forum... its FREE to join... we have loads of challenges every month and the 'vent' is a great place to chat with like minded stampers. 12th DAY OF CREEPMAS

Welcome back......Well this is it.... the last day.

 It's now Day #12 of the SMEARED AND SMUDGED 12 DAYS OF CREEPMAS BLOG HOP.

So i'll end with a POE pressie..... and a few pictures of my home decked out.

 This box of kiddies wooden domino's have all be altered using Smeared ink digi papers and stamps.

 Here is a pic of the box above and another domino box..... although the dominos in the smaller one haven't ben altered, i'll leave that to the friend who i'm sending them to.

 So now.... here is the Skull and bow tree .... its only 3ft tall but caused quite a stir when folks realise that the baubles are skulls.

 Here's my Ho Ho Poe hanging near the wall light.

 The little creepmas wreath from day  #1 has been added to the centre of our door wreath,
its surprised a few of our visitors.... I like that ;)

 Finally..... our very traditional tree in the lounge..... just so you know that I do still do Christmas as well as Creepmas.

11th DAY OF CREEPMAS

Today i have yet another decoration to show you....
this one is hanging on a wall in my dinning room.

Each pennant has been cut from Christmas DP . 

The letters cut from Halloween DP and stamped with a cob-web stamp from 

De-stempelwinkel.

My girls helped me add all the creepy-crawlies.... and we used nice Halloween orange ribbon to hold all our pennants together.

DAY 10 OF THE 12 DAYS OF CREEPMAS

Today i have yet another decoration to show you....

 ....a door hanger.... i covered another pound store buy with DP, sanded all the edges for a really neat finish.
Wrote 'Bah-humbug' on in pencil then painted in the letters to match the existing colour. I stamped all over the hanger with a crackle stamp from DE-STEMPELWINKEL....best crackle stamp i own.
I coloured my RSD image....called GRUMPY  DRAGON ..... did he name it after me?... with promarkers, fussy cut and stuck it to my doorhanger. I then gently inked everything to blend the image in and coated with matte sealer.... think this might end up on the front door!

Today i have another decoration to show you.
I have my dinning room decorated for CREEPMAS and my lounge decorated for CHRISTMAS....well i have to as one of my daughters doesn't like creepy stuff and my Dad would refuse to visit if i didn't do 'traditional Christmas'.
This decoration is one of those that could go in either room, as if you just have a quick glance at it, its looks very traditional.

But on closer inspection its really more CREEPMAS.

 I really do adore these SMEARED INK sheep.......and the deer skull...... all available on back order at the RUBBER CLUB....
and maybe the sheep are still available as a digi?

Noel started life as a pound shop buy.... stripped of its gingham covering and altered to look festive with a twist.
