HALLOWEEN.... THE LAST DAY OF THE 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN

Well i actually made to the very last day...

 of the SMEARED AND SMUDGED 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN blog hop 

the blog roll is as always on my side bar.

 For my last day i have 17 tags to show you....

 .... and the hand made boxes they go with.... my girls and i will be celebrating Halloween at my sisters, so we have made the treat-boxes for all the children coming to the party.
They are made from 12''x12'' card folded... so they are 4'' square when finished.
My girls have worked really hard... helping folding the boxes, making the roses, painting the skulls, and threading the tags.

 Thought you might like to see all the projects i have made this month together on the dining room table.
I removed all the doors from the calender as they are pretty weighty and once open put a lot of strain on the hinges.....so they are at the front of the table..

 ..... even i am now Halloween'ed out!

 I always start this hop with POE... and i had intended to end with this book,
but my girls have other ideas.... so on the last but one day here is POE.

 I cut the pages from mount board....

 ... covered them with DP's.....

 ..... stamped and inked. Made pockets...

RSD digi images.

 ...and lots of tags....

 ...so whoever receives this has plenty of places to make notes...

The images are from various college sheets/  SMEARED INK and RSD digi images.
The gorgeous distressed swirl stamp is ''Tattered angels'' i used it to alter every page.
The DP's are from my stash.

onto IKES WORLD
 this fortnight's Challenge #4 KRAZY KRITTERZ 
I chose to work with these KOOKY KATZ...... making them the feature in the
''search for the perfect pumpkin.''

 Sorry the light here is terrible and for some reason even my 'new' camera doesnt want
to photograph these pages.
I cut the shape i wanted from very heavy weight card.

 I used all 6 KATZ x4 =24 and Smeared ink pumpkin patch (no longer available) x5 =
lots of colouring and even more fussy cutting!

 I used various DP's for the backgrounds, journalling blocks,

.... sticky letters....

 ....ink, gel pens.... and a lot of heavy duty card.

 Here is the little fella at the end of his quest....
he just wanted the PURRFECT pumpkin to sit his bottom on.

Sorry folks this is a bit of a long post as i have a couple of other things to share with you.
Today is also the start of week#2 of the colour challenge over at SMUDGY ANTICS.
So this week i used colours i didn't use last week.... just to ring the changes :)
I altered a small desk tidy...one of the cheapy ones from the pound store.
I used SMEARED INK PAPERS  that i altered with promarkers as i am a techno-idiot having no idea how to do it digitally.

 Mr Poe adorns the front of the note book.
I hope you'll have time to join us before Saturday when the challenge closes.

 Here is my DAY OF THE DEAD shrine.... lots of colouring....3x evenings worth actually...
then so much fussy cutting of these 8x layers that i got blisters on my finger and thumb from the tiny sissors i use for this type of thing.

Its made up of 4 layers of acetate and in real life looks so much better than this...
flocks of bats swirling around an angel on clouds.... i'll Know another time that acetate layers are
a NO-NO in a shadowbox!
