Good mourning glory

Diane at Good mourning glory has set her 1st challenge, and its 'summer days'.

I made this atc using stamps from my hoard.The background i did in water colour and ink, the figure is just over coloured in pencil.

I did her dancing in a grave yard in the sunshine as i hope it appeals to Dianes love of the macabre.

RAINBOW LADY & STAMP WITH FUN

The challenge at 'rainbowlady' this week is 'christmas with a pet' and the challenge at 'stamp with fun' is a brilliant sketch.... which i thought went with this 'sassy santa's helper' really well.

I have nothing christmassy with a pet on so.... i used a 'staptivity' santas helpers stamp, coloured with promarkers and the little frog from 'penny black' holly day critters.

I had to cut both the sassy lassy and little frog so he looks as if he's being held... but the smile on his face says he's 'enjoying' it!!!

The papers are 'daisy & dandelion' christmas collection.

Soartful challenge

I found this challenge through 'artfreebies'... link is on the left.... a lovey background is provided for you to do with as you please.

I printed pic out twice, decoupaged the dragonfly after adding some mica to give it a bit of shimmer,used a pic of an adorable child that is from 'artfreebies', some paper flowers i put in her hand...and some ferny fronds off a bunch of silk poppies i have on my desk.... i added a torn strip of the backgrond to cover the ends of the ferns.

Rosie and Dee's challenge

These are the things i made for my 1st week on the DT at
ROSIE-DEES .
The book i covered in VERY bright pink fabic and i decorated it with felt and faux velvet.... its very touchy feely.... amd GIRLY!!!! I plan to use it to keep a record of my daughters friends birthdays.
The 2 scrap book pages are my girls... twins.. on their 1st birthday.... they were 4 a couple of weeks ago so i thought it was time i did them.
Both my girls seemed to think birthday cards were for eating... has anyone tried making one out of rice-paper i wonder?

stampin for the weekend

Stamping at the weekend has a sketch... well 2 sketches actually this week as there challenge.

When i saw this sketch i thought it just had to be vintage.

The pretty lady stamp came from QVC yonks ago... the papers from my scrap drawer, the lovely lace from a shop in beccles and the real pressed flowers from joanna sheen ages ago.

saturday surprise....

I Found this site on friday,

so this is my 1st entry in a challenge at 'Saturday surprise' and this weeks challenge is 'ABSTRACT'.

I used inks in just 2 colours, bubble wrap, sequin waste, and my fingers....

i had a lot of fun!!!!

The three muses...up,up,and away

This is my offering for this weeks challenge at 'THE THREE MUSES' where
the challenge is ' up up and away'.
When i was little i used to think that the dandilion seed heads were really faeries, so its with this thought in mind i made this tag. Sorry i have no idea whose stamps i've used... i water coloured the back ground and coloured the faerie and dandilion with H20's and added detail with a white pen.

I made a water coloured background tag and stamped these lovely daisy type flowers on it... sorry dont know whose stamp it is, but i think its smashing.
I have coloured it with promarkers, and pencils.
I topped it with a green ribbon.

PRO MARKER CHALLENGE

This dear little 'LILY OF THE VALLEY' dragon trying to pinch cherries ( dont know whose stamp ) is my offering in this weeks promarker challenge... MOSS GREEN AND POPPY... with a twist this week which is ...& SOMETHING TASTY.

The papers are from my scrap drawer.

I have used MOSS GREEN, POPPY, & ICE GREY1 PROMARKERS....and the BLENDER.

The challenge this week at 'STAMP WITH FUN' is turquoise and brown.
I used a digi image of a stunning faerie and coloured her with promarkers and used glitter on her wings. The papers and sentiment are DCWV, velvert ribbon from my crafty buddie, lucy.

Dotties world.... sunshine

This is the image that MADE me buy far to many 'goodies' at 'CHARMED' 2weeks ago.... but i
adore her... so the girls and oldies having nothing but bread and water cos i'm broke isnt a problem!!!...... and just incase anyones worried i dont mean it!!!
The challenge at dotties world is 'sunshine' so i used various yellow papers and card...& some silk flowers.
The little darlin' is coloured with promarkers and i made wings from vellum..... the sketch is the one for this weeks challenge at 'Just christmas and birthdays'.

just christmas and birthdays...sketch

I couldn't resist this sketch....i love circles.... and for a miserable old dragon i have a real soft spot for the new digi stamp pixies from charmed/dotties world. This one isnt supposed to be a christmas one but i thought i'd 'slightly alter her' and this is the result....

She has been coloured in promarkers... liberal amounts of 2 different blue glitters ... and vellum wings...with glitter!!!!

Art adventure... DAZZLE OF DRAGONFLIES

The challenge at 'ART ADVENTURE' this month is 'a dazzle of dragonflies'.
I have tons of scrap cardboard laying around so i thought i'd use some of it for this project.
I took a 4''x4'' square and distressed it...alot! I gave it a watered down coat of acrylic paint, stamped it with a 'crafty individuals' dragonfly stamp and added another set of wings stamped on vellum. I added lots of bits and bobs i had laying around... all salvaged or scraps from other projects... and finally i stamped a larger dragonfly... i think its from stamp addicts... correct me if i'm wrong!!!... on to vellum, painted its body and tail with silver ink and added glass beads them attached it to the 'card' with silicon so it looks as if its just landed.

corrosive challenge... ENGLAND

This weeks challenge at corrosive challenge is 'our own country'... i have
made a set of atcs in a folder.
They have been stamped on the racing pages of grandads saturday paper.
I coloured them very sparingly with pencils so you can read the 'paper'
through them. If anyone wants to swap this set, please let me know, its not ear-marked for anyone yet.

The old bus and old fashioned bobby are a close up of the front of the wallet.
