NEW SMUDGY ANTICS CHALLENGE and reminder for HDH MACABRE MONDAY

A fortnight has passed and it is time for another challenge with SMUDGY ANTICS.
The theme for this two week period of creativity is
CRUMBLE IT.

Here is the definition of crumble (verb):

  1. disintegrate, collapse, break up, deteriorate, decay, fall apart, perish, degenerate, decompose, tumble down, go to pieces
  2. crush, fragment, crumb, pulverize, pound, grind, powder, granulate, go to wrack and ruin, break down
The word crumble sounds pretty destructive, doesn't it?  We at Smudgy Antics challenge you to crumble your project in some fashion this fortnight.  If it is not evident as to how you have crumbled your project, please describe your crumbling technique in your post.  Don't forget to use a stamped image (real or digi) in your projects.

I was a bit lost for this challenge....i dont tend to crumble much....other than having a nice apple crumble with cream after sunday lunch....after many false starts and a large heap of crumbled rubbish ( which i might just show at the end of this post) i finally came up with this.... Poe (as the mad-hatter) in wonderland top hat.

Over at the SMEARED AND SMUDGED FORUM our guest designer this month is LEIGH S-B,shes challenged us to make either a TOP-HAT project or ALICE IN WONDERLAND..... so here is my offering.... the top hat is covered in crumbled velvet.... the rolled roses i made from crumbled paper..... and the greenery is crumbled silk.

I tried to crumble the ribbon but it refused to obey! I used SMEARED INKS,  SKELETAL SHEEP, FENCE , 'SHROOMS and POE ( although i altered him using another companys stamp to give him the hat and curly hair) I also used dried weeds.... i am such a womble :) I coloured all my images with promarkers and fussy cut them. I hope you'll join us this time and have fun with 'CRUMBLE'.

Now onto .......
 HDH Macabre Monday
Gruesome Guardians

You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Hallowe'en based art piece
using gargoyles, gryphons, dragons, leprechauns, fairies, etc.

I made this box about a year ago..... but for this challenge finally got around to making the necklace to go in it.... slow or what? I have used SMEARED INK GRYPHON on both.

This ATC is just a little extra inspiration..... which one is the gruesome guardian?
Please come and join us..... you have another 6 days ...... we love the weird, wacky and of cause MACABRE.
Oh yeah.... this is my first offering for the CRUMBLE CHALLENGE at  SMUDGY ANTICS.... you wouldnt believe how many attempts i had at making my DT PIECE!

Thanks for visiting ...hope to see you at both of these off-beat challenges BD x

I'd like to enter the following challenges....
