MACABRE MONDAY

Welcome to another challenge from the creepy, crazy freaky world of MACABRE MONDAY.
We had an enormous amount of response to our challenge last week , so i hope we get the same for this challenge which is......."Get Lost"

You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween-based art piece
that includes a map. Big or small, background or main focus... let's get lost in HDH-land!
I used about 9 different map stamps to make the back ground..... coloured with distress inks and mounted onto a black card base. I then used red paint on one of the splatters from a retired rubber set from SMEARED INK and randomly 'bloodied' up my background. The main image is also from SMEARED INK..... AS DEATH..... coloured with distress inks...fussy cut and added to my background. Finally i ink distressed all the edges with brown then black ink to keep with the vintage feel.
I hope you'll have time to join us this week for this slightly less MACABRE than normal challenge.
I shall enter this 'skinny' into the following challenges....
http://smudgyantics.blogspot.com/ TALL DARK AND GRUESOME
http://cropstop.blogspot.com/ DISTRESSED VINTAGE OR SHABBY CHIC
Thanks for visiting me today. love lynx

  12. Thanks for your comment. I am so poorly in commenting, I am sorry. It's always the time, I think, but to be honest, I need so much time for looking and reading and then my attention gets catched by something else and .. well, I need some better time managing system for my bloghopping...
But back to your fantastic project: I'll get nightmares when I look too much at it, this demon luring the poor soul into abyss...
