Smeared and smudged blog members hop and a very late MACABRE MONDAY

Firstly i need to say i'm so sorry that my DT piece for MACABRE MONDAYS didnt go up.... i have put it at the bottom of this post.

Today we at the SMEARED AND SMUDGED FORUM are having our March blog hop, and the theme is BROWN and GREEN.

I have made another mixed media piece of wall art.

I have used lots of 'stuff'....... sculpture paper i made, images from SMEARED INK i stamped onto pages from an E.A POE book that i'm altering.... very slowly..... rusty metal, washers, so much 'stuff' that most people would call junk!

The list of blogs is below, and if you leave a comment on every blog you are in the drawer for a brilliant STRANGE SKIN DIGI IMAGE.

NOW..... i'll also show you my Macabre monday piece.... our theme is TOE TAGS AND BODY BAGS.......http://haunteddesignhouse.blogspot.com/

I thought i'd alter this cute little bag..... it is just big enough for a purse and a packet of ciggies.... oh dear you can tell this dragon still smokes!

The skull is from SMEARED INK..... the AS DEATH set. Sorry about such a long post but things have been crazy here this week.... and i am just about dead on my feet.... i didnt know i could feel this bad!
I hope you enjoy the blog hop and find loads of inspiration.
Thank you for visiting me... love lynx

  3. BD! You amaze me! I have always admired your work and i am continually surprised by how many different types of artistic expression you have. I must say, your mixed-media pieces just blow me away. I'd bow down to you, but then I may never get back up again, I really think the mixed-media thing is your niche. If I saw any of your mixed media pieces for sale I'd scoop them up before they sold out. They are that good! Nay, they are that fantastic! You have inspired me to give mixed-media a try.

  9. Amazing! I imagine your house to be gorgeous with all this artwork you create and share with us. This is one of those works of art that you could just stare at for hours looking at all the little details you put into it. So cool that you stamped on pages, I love the look of text behind the stamped images. I love the 'stuff' you included, I've started my own collection of rusty bits and pieces I come across and hope when I attempt a mixed media piece even a fraction of your brilliance will rub off on me. Fantastic! Feel better soon!!!
