Today's calender page....

Stamped with a hand drawn background...coloured my usual way..
alcohol markers, pencils and ink. White gel pens for the highlights.

 As everyone seems to like the clay things I've done so far during this hop,
I thought I'd do another....
This is the little box....

 this is the end alteration....
a fossilised frog.

I used a cobweb stamp to give texture....
and a 'word' stamp on the front and back....

the words are Poe's.... who else would I use?

The stamps I used on this box are exclusive to DE-STEMPELWINKEL.

Todays calender page is a collage of all my gargoyle and grotesque stamps.
Stamped, masked and colouring  with pencils,
alcohol pens and ink.
The amount of masks I used on this was incredible....
its only 5x5 inches square....

 .... I really love some of these images...
some cute... some scary.

Today is the start of the second week of our challenge at...

IT'S...

THINK PINK.

 ..... So me being me I did another PINK Hallowe'en card .
I have used 'TELL TALE HEART', cutting away all of the background...
I have fussy cut 6 layers to give it dimension. Coloured it with alcohol pens and pencils....
used unloved papers from my stash... and a bit of ribbon...
reminder to self... use sharper scissors to cut ribbon in future!

It's a bit of a mega post today....
here is my calender page..

 HDH MACABRE MONDAY have a new challenge starting today which is
HORRIFYING HALLOWE'EN...
NO CUTESY STUFF...ALLOWED!
I thought the laughing devil on the calender fitted the theme quite well,
as does my altered incense burner...
I have called it LOST SOULS...

 ...on every side amongst the skulls is one small childs face...
these are the lost souls.

 You have 2 weeks to join us at HDH for this our last challenge until the new year.

 Today you'll see a project of mine at DE-STEMPELWINKEL later in the hop...
here's just a tiny taster 1/9th to be exact!

Todays calender page is of cause just simple stamping and colouring  with pencils,
alcohol pens and ink.

 Abit of white gel pen to add highlights.

 Also today I have two little books to show you....

 one is 3x3 inches square... it has an image on every lefthand page thats stamped and coloured...

 ...on the right hand side is lined paper to keep your Hallowe'en notes on...

 ...the other book is 6x 3 inches... its all just cut'n'paste G45 papers so not really allowed as a project for this hop as its not stamped.... but thought i'd show you just one double page from it.... like the smaller one the righthand pages are all to keep notes on.... the lefthand side are just pretty to look at :)

Fridays are SMEARED INK days....

...so I have used GRUMPIES for my calender page today,

these are real rubber, stamped and masked, coloured with my usual mix of colouring mediums.

Here we have todays calender page...

 Just the usual... stamped, coloured the usual way.
Added a stamped branches around a background I drew in just to give it a bit of depth.

 This the final week of our challenge at QUOTH THE RAVEN,
 #37  TAG ALONG

The Master doth desire to see TAGS on thy creation - whether it be-eth a TAG or hath TAGS thereupon - each will be accepted... but thy creation MUST be connected in some manner to The Master - EDGAR ALLAN POE.

 I used Graphic 45 papers and added POE from RSD.
I coloured him up using colours to compliment the G45papers and gave him a hat cut from one of the papers that I coloured up... Poe looks so dapper in  a steampunk topper!

Well today is two full weeks completed...i'm sure i'm not gonna get half the stuff done I wanna do,
so Hallowe'en might just have to continue and merge with Creepmas!
Here is todays calender page...

 SMEARED INK rubber stamps, stamped and masked, coloured with my usual mix of stuff.
I quite liked the pastel shades.... sort of ghostly and creepy?

Now onto the new IKE'S WORLD CHALLENGE
This fortnight we are doing everything pink,
 since this is the month for BCA, but it can be anything pink you like so feel free to play along.
  It could be BCA, Babies, flowers or anything your heart desires .......
Challenge #24 is  THINK PINK.

Today I have a bit of a bumper post...
Here is todays calender page, made for the new challenge at
DELICIOUS DARKNESS,
the challenge is ANYTHING GOES as long as its  Hallowe'en.

 I have used Teri's gorgeous LA LLORONA
You have a whole month to enter with the chance of winning some of Teri's superb images.
I kept the colouring on this really simple as the image needs nothing really.
I just used shades of lilac, pink and pale blue pencils to give it an even more ghostly feel.
Please come and join us this month...we love to see your dark creations.

 I have also got a project on the DE-STEMPELWINKEL blog today that you'll see later in the hop.
I have started altering a board book from one of our pound stores....
I only have all the pages covered and the cover completed...DUH! I really should have done better!

 HDH MACABRE MONDAY is now into the second week of our challenge...
YOU WOOD DO THAT.
I have altered some wooden crosses.... 2 can be seen at DE-STEMPELWINKEL,
so I won't show them here... you'll see them with the book cover later in the hop.

 I covered the crosses with clay...stamped into it, and baked 'em in the oven.
I gave each a slightly different paint paint finish.
You'll see the 5 I altered at HDH...3X NECKLACES, 2X KEYRINGS.

Just a calender page for you today...and a little peek of something else you'll see later in the hop at DOMINOART.

 I am so pleased that I managed to finish my calender before the beginning of this hop.....
not sure what I'd do if I had to do it and other 31 day projects every day.... my craftroom and dining room look like a bomb as been dropped on them with so many projects in the prep stages or half done.
My girls have been quite enjoying eating their meals on trays in the lounge some nights
 but I had to have a massive clear up yesterday before my parents came for a meal.... my dad and stepmum would be horrified if I gave 'em a meal on a tray cos' of the Hallowe'enie stuff on the table.
Took me all morning to get all the stuff laid out again on the dining table... feel much more at home now!!!
Anyhow...I digress.... today's calender page was made with my sister in mind....
she detests spiders.... nothing in this world scares her more.
Stamps are paper artsy... stamped ,masked, coloured in my usual way.

 Here is a little before shot of the games pieces I have altered and you'll see the finished items at DOMINOART later in the hop today.

Busy day today... my parents here for lunch....girls have a party this afternoon...
and I have to go Hallowe'en prop shopping.... my sis tells me that the pound stores are now stocked up
for Hallowe'en.... wonder what i'll find to alter?
