Just a calender page for you today...and a little peek of something else you'll see later in the hop at DOMINOART.

I am so pleased that I managed to finish my calender before the beginning of this hop.....
not sure what I'd do if I had to do it and other 31 day projects every day.... my craftroom and dining room look like a bomb as been dropped on them with so many projects in the prep stages or half done.
My girls have been quite enjoying eating their meals on trays in the lounge some nights
but I had to have a massive clear up yesterday before my parents came for a meal.... my dad and stepmum would be horrified if I gave 'em a meal on a tray cos' of the Hallowe'enie stuff on the table.
Took me all morning to get all the stuff laid out again on the dining table... feel much more at home now!!!
Anyhow...I digress.... today's calender page was made with my sister in mind....
she detests spiders.... nothing in this world scares her more.
Stamps are paper artsy... stamped ,masked, coloured in my usual way.

Here is a little before shot of the games pieces I have altered and you'll see the finished items at DOMINOART later in the hop today.

Thanks for continuing to take the time to visit..... it makes eating on a tray in the lounge worth while!

see you tomorrow for DAY #13...... ITS A BUMPER DAY FOR ME.... 3 projects, 1 day, eeeeeekkkk!!!!

Busy day today... my parents here for lunch....girls have a party this afternoon...
and I have to go Hallowe'en prop shopping.... my sis tells me that the pound stores are now stocked up
for Hallowe'en.... wonder what i'll find to alter?

Thanks for continuing to take the trouble to stop by... have a good Saturday.

QUOTH THE RAVEN
are now into our 3rd week of our MAKE A TAG challenge,
not just any old tag mind you, it must somehow be related to the Master, Poe.

 I used stamps from DE-STEMPELWINKEL,
stamped and masked my images to create a scene.
Coloured with mixed colouring mediums.

It would be wonderful if you could join us this month, you have 13 days to link up your project,
and be in with a chance of winning a $15 VOUCHER to spend at IKE'SART....
check out the blog hop post, spotlighting the newly released ZOMBIE PETSHOP!
I have a couple of sneaky peeks for you today as well... although my tag is simple I have been a busy dragon.

the theme is AROUND THE WORLD....
I used an old freebie image of IKE'S ...gorgeous isn't she.... added pumpkins and the UK flag.
I'd love to see more HALLOWE'EN AROUND THE WORLD.... not that everyone in the UK looks this good in a Hallowe'en costume!

The SMEARED AND SMUDGED FORUM has a fatpage swap this month...

the theme is HALLOWE'EN (what else could it be?) so why not sign up.... make a fatpage and swap...

The SMEARED AND SMUDGED FORUM

The full blog roll is on my side bar where it shall remain all month long.

Details of prizes, rules etc can be found HERE.
Today I have my 6th calender page for you.

The picture below is truer to colour than the full page one above.
The stamps are from third coast....
rather cute but glitter dragon likes it!
Simple stamping, coloured with ink, alcohol markers and pencils.

Today we have a new challenge for you at HDH MACABRE MONDAY.
USE WOOD IN YOUR PROJECT... trees...lolly sticks...... wood grain paper...real wood...
whatever floats your boat.
I have had this charity shop find stashed away forever.....

....just waiting to be revamped into something much darker and more beautiful....

 ...well that time is here....

I painted it matte black. I had some hallowe'en papers in my stash that cried out to be stamped all over...
so i did just that, then covered the desk caddy with them.... i sanded the edges... painted them and inked them ,then distressed them to hell and back...
the desk caddy now has a well worn, well love shabby look about it.
You have two weeks to join us at HDH and use wood in your project...it doesnt have to be a HALLOWE'EN project.... but what could be better?

I shall enter this caddy into the challenge at RE-CYCLE, RE-PURPOSE AND RE-INVENT...

So please to see it back up and running.

Thanks for stopping by today....
see you tomorrow for DAY#7 of the 31 days of Hallowe'en.

Today you will find my calender page over at the de-Stempelwinkel designer blog
later on in the hop,
so here is just a sneaky peek at it.

For ages now around fb and blogland I have noticed these pop-up box cards
so my girls and I thought we'd try to figure out how to make one.
This is ours....

We used some Graphic 45 papers that i had been hoarding for ever....

added ''happy hallowe'en'' stamped sentiment to the flaps and back panel,
and fussy cut our little scene....
this is about as creepy as my glitter dragon gets.... but of cause BD junior wants to make another
thats far more scary .... maybe later in the month?

Many thanks to those who leave comments every day...you make the 31 days worth doing.
See you tomorrow for DAY#6

there are not many days when i've only had to make one project :)

The picture above is a truer colour than the one below.... I am a lousy photographer!
My girls are having great fun turning the page over every day....even taking it in turns.... thats very unusual for my twins.... they never agree on anything.

The stamps used are all from Tim Holtz.... this page is only coloured with ink.... a very quick page..
bit of a cheat really.... promise i'll do better tomorrow or maybe monday?
Thanks for stopping by...happy hopping.
see you Sunday for DAY #5.

We the DT at IKE'S WORLD have a blog hop to launch  the

NEW RELEASE from IKEsART.

during the Hop you have a chance to win the Set of your choice..

Here is what I created with my favourite of these brilliant new images....

I just looove this zombie frog.

I made him dimensional by printing him 9x and fussy cutting it out,

colouring each layer up adding shadows as I went.... finally adding half pearls to his eyes...

small one at the rear to keep the perspective correct and

so that he has those blind eyes that zombies have.

I added him to a repainted grave stone from a pound store....

then added lots of little natural bits and bobs....oh and some plastic ants for him to feast upon whilst he awaits fresh brains!

Below is the full BLOG ROLL,

so you can see what my DT teamies have created for you.

ALSO.... the challenge at QUOTH THE RAVEN is now in its 2nd week,

DAY #1 OF THE 31 DAYS OF HALLOWE'EN

This is the time of year that we, the lovers of all things creepy, dark and macabre live for.

The SMEARED AND SMUDGED FORUM are hosting

31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN BLOG HOP again,

this is my 5th time doing it.... oh how I love HALLOWE'EN.

The full blog roll is on my side bar where it shall remain all month long.

Details of prizes, rules etc can be found HERE.

As usual for me I just have to start with POE.

I have made my girls and I a flip over calender for this month,

bound it with ribbon.

Day #1 had to be Poe.

The iamges are SMEARED INK rubber stamps,

stamped and masked. Coloured with alcohol pens, pencils and ink.

The cover and day planner page are on the DE-STEMPELWINKEL designers blog today,

where you'll see them later during the hop,

here's a sneaky peek of the cover...

.... and of the day planner page.

Also today I have an altered project to show you as its the start of the new monthly challenge

at ALTERED ECLECTICS....

you can altered anything you like... and you have until the end of the month to link up.... we love HALLOWE'EN projects!

I went from this..

 to this....

Poe even made it onto this tealight holder...

mainly because to qualify for the hop every project must be stamped... real stamp or digi...

SOMEWHERE!

The plastic mouse really gives me the creeps.... he started out just a plain white plastic mouse,

but after i gave it a new paint job it looks just to darned real for the rodent phobic dragon.

I don't think I can stand to look at this all month long! It'll have to go in a drawer!

Well thats day one out of the way.... see you tomorrow for DAY #2 of the 31 days of Hallowe'en.
