DAY #9 of the 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN

Welcome to DAY#9 ..... today i have a couple of projects to share with you, and a reminder to check out ART WITH NO BOUNDARIES CHALLENGE and RECYCLE RE-PURPOSE AND RE-INVENT where i'm their visiting artist this month.
I made another book page using the dreamy image COSMOS from CS DESIGNS . I coloured her with promarkers and ink.....kept her quite dreamy looking but with a dark edge.... the sentiment is also from CS DESIGNS.... printed onto safmat and added over my image....i then had to use a green gel pen to make it stand out more.
I used paper from PINKPAISLEE that i coloured with promarkers and ink.... MS spiders web punch... cobweb ribbon and plastic spiders.
The words say...'theres a little bad in all of us''..... very true too!
Next up is a recycled shandy bottle.... my Dad goes through a case of these a week so i'll never be short of the bottles.....
I painted it with a rust effect.... used a cork from the wine Dad drank a few weeks ago.... some garden hemp twine.... some plastic bones. old beads and a metal ring from my broken jewellery stash.
The image is from CS DESIGNS.
This faux rusted metal bottle will make a great prop for halloween....hope to get more made soon. The full hope list is on my side bar. See you all tomorrow for DAY #10.
I'd like to enter the following challenges....
http://simonsaysstampandshow.blogspot.co.uk/ RUSTIFICATION
http://thepapergirlschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ ACETATE OR TRANSPARANCIES....on the page i used safmat.
http://www.comeandgetitchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/ USE 3 THINGS...green black and ribbon on the page.
http://panpasteluk.blogspot.co.uk/ ALTERED RECYCLED PROJECT.....the bottle project all is.

  10. Wow oh wow. I love both of your projects but since this is entered in Simon Says Stamp and Show's Rustification challenge, I'm going to oogle over your rusted bottle. It is amazing! Love the rich texture you were able to achieve. I love the rusty color and the very cool face that is peering out through the "peep hole". Thanks so much for sharing your art with us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. <3 Candy

  17. Lyn, these are just beautiful. Cosmo is one of my favourite images and I absolutely love what you have done with her. The card is so haunting...actually mesmerizing. Love the altered bottle. It looks so old and creepy. I can only imagine what horrible potion is inside. So glad you are with us this month at AWNB and RRR. Your art is so inspiring.
