DE-STEMPELWINKEL

Good morning to you on this bright and blustery Sunday.
Today is my turn to post on the DE-STEMPELWINKEL DT BLOG.
Today i have just a little something to share with you.
I f you're like me you have a box of little bits left over from other projects,
fussycut flowers from one project, some tiny bits of tree bark, some moss,
a mount board circle..... rubbish really.... so add an empty tin can,
some strange little 'critter' stamps and you have a
SMALL WORLD.
Don't they all look so happy with their new home?

Because of family things this week i didn't get to blog this on Tueday, again it was my turn posting for
DE-STEMPELWINKEL
just a card to celebrate the start of autumn.

All stamps and Original rust are from DE-STEMPELWINKEL shop.
I'd like to enter the following challenges....
ALLSORTS.... HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW?

DE-STEMPELWINKEL

Another week has gone, so its my turn to post again on the designers blog... my favourite month of the year is nearly upon us,during October we, the designteam at DE-STEMPELWINKEL will be celebrating all things Halloween, we're taking part in the 31days of Halloween hosted by the
 SMEARED AND SMUDGED FORUM so,
i thought i'd better get some of the small prep-work items started.
These are the bits and pieces that no-one usually notices, they just add to a larger piece...
but they are actually nice stand-alone items.
I stamped onto off cuts of leather with stazon.
Coloured the details in with gel-pens then gently buffed with sandpaper. On one book i added brads, but wasnt sure they looked right...to shiny? Our post-it-notes must be bigger than Dutch ones... i spent ages having to cut ours down to fit inside.
These are the first of many little books i'll need during the Halloween season.... so many little bits and pieces to make before i even get started on 'proper' projects.. (sigh!)
Thanks for visiting... BDx

IKE of IKES WORLD... and QUOTH THE RAVEN.....has just this week started a brand new challenge blog .... not only is it a great challenge... IKE even gives you a free digi to work with if you don't already have any of her digi images. She is also looking for a brand new design team.... so why not apply? The first challenge is TIC-TAC-TOE

I altered a jute bag by recycling some of my girls outgrown denim skirts, some sequins, pearl beads , a flower and a big applique design.
The raven is printed onto iron-on transfer paper then coloured with fabric pens.
I hope you'll have time to play along with this exciting new challenge.
My bag is also a reminder to come and join us at QUOTH THE RAVEN.... we too have a tic-tac.... but ours is POE!
As you can see my flower centre is Mr Poe...for this project i used bottom left diagonal to top right.... stitching-Poe-raven.

DOMINOART...Sun memories +any games piece goes.

Its week #3 for the challenge at DOMINOART,
YOUR ARE CHALLENGED TO ALTER ANY GAME PIECE...
(Domino, jigsaw, monoply money.... the list is endless...)
using a SUN THEME.

I altered two dominos .... using CHERRY PIE STAMPS.
I stamped using black and blue stazon, heat set, then coloured with sharpies and ink.
I used a thin coat of diamond glaze over the top, when completely dry i used rub-ons for the words and added a small metal embellie to one of them.
I then used a nice thick coat of diamond glaze to seal my dominos.
Its not to clear from the photo but both have a nice depth to the images.... both have ribbon around the sides for a neat finish....and magnets on the back.
I do hope you come and join in this challenge...you have until 18th september to link up.

Accordingly, thou shalt chooseth any 3 Squares in whichever direction thy heart doth desire, and maketh therefrom a creation worthy of The Master - but I remind thee, lest thee forget.. thy creation must be connected to Edgar Allan POE to qualify for the Prize.
