Day #7 of the 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN and STAMPINSANITY

Welcome... its the the 7th day of THE 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN and today i have 2 projects to share with you... and more news..... its that time of year i guess!!!

My 1st offering today is LILITH a brand new release from STAMPINSANITY.

As some of you know... i struggle with cute, but these new images are that little bit different and have a very sinister but cute look about them.

The new set is released today but i got to see 'em and use 'em because......

I am now on the DT....! along with..............................

Beth {owner}
Juanita Lynx Sugar Jane Margie Wendy
Dawn Jacquie Alison Susan Ericka
Rosalien Chelsea Jules Suzi
Why this picture is so small is beyond me! But i shows the new set of 4 images..... for a better look please go and check out STAMPINSANITY.... click on my post title, with luck it'll take you there. I hope you can click on the names above to check out the DT's own blogs....fingers crossed! I hope to get my blog revamped at the weekend and updated with new dt's etc.... i am a total techno-idiot and really cant do it myself! JANE!!! i need help please!

Anyhow.... LILITH was printed out and coloured with promarkers...cut out and placed on the background with foam pads.

The background is 'Bats' from STAMPINSANITY that i printed out...used a paper mask for the moon and inked with red, deep purple and black ink to create a sinister sky. I removed my mask and coloured my moon.

I used a white gel pen to add high lights.... then matted my picture onto black card, then onto paper that the amazing digi- paper designer Susanhttp://www.craftychaosdesigns.co.uk/ made for me.... it is so beautiful!

Please come and join in our challenge this week.... its Trick or treat...Naughty or nice..... i think Lilth is a naughty treat, dont you?

My next offering is another little gift box i made from recycled heavy card and painted.

I stamped onto the painted surface, nuts, bolts, cogs, electical diagrams etc from DESTEMPELWINKEL ..(the link is on my side bar) and used a digi image from STRANGE SKIN
http://www.strangeskin.com/ ...they have some really wonderful images.... you'll be seeing more from them soon i'm sure!

I used 3 coats of sealer and a few washers in 2 of the corners put into the top coat whilst it was still wet. Now i just have to make something to go in it!

Thanks for making it to the end of my long post..... now go get some tea and biscuits before you hop on to the next WICKED BLOG (link on my side bar)....or over to STAMPINSANITY.

thanks for visiting me today... see you tomorrow for day#8.

love lynx

  11. Look at all the detail you've done in Lilith's hair! I must figure out a way to do it digitally, but I think it may be beyond me as I wouldn't know how to do the lines so it looks natural, if I try something like that, it tends to end up looking like someone's just drawn a random pixelly mess on the image. And another wonderful box, plus a link to a recommended new digi site, there are so many things I want to buy at the minute, but sadly the money in the bank is already accounted for, so more digis may have to wait :P

  15. Lyn, you're so utterly fabulous, girl! This little vixen with those wide innocent eyes definitely has the glimmer of sinister evil; too cute for words and love your masking and inking. The Frankenstein box is absolutely gruesome; love the paper and the washers - so very dark and ghoulish like it should be. I hate the dark but I love seeing you create with it! Heehee

And theird, the box is rockin'!!! Pam and Jorge are going to love it when they see it! I really like the background, but the way you colored Frankestein is sick! His eyes are so creepy!!!

  27. I second Pam. Really excellent job with the Frankenstein box. I may have stitched together his rotting parts, but you strapped him to to the table and flipped the lightning switch and made him 'Alive!'. - Jorge, Strange Skin
