YAY.... I'm back on ROSIE-DEES DT.

I am so very very happy to be back at ROSIE-DEES (link in my side bar).... i had a 3 month stint there last summer and was the guest designer for october.... Rosie-dees was the 1st DT i was on, and i really am happy to be back there on a permanent basis... it feels like home.
The challenge there this fortnightis a sketch and is sponsored by Teri's delicious doodles..... THANK YOU Teri, my friend, your a star,
and we the DT were given images to work with.... i choose this one as i wanted to make a keep sake box for myself and i love this heart... it reminds me of CRM's style... it wasnt as easy to trace on to metal as the digi-image in the post below but i am quite pleased with the result, althought it took me a full night (one when i was sitting up with nan.... all i had was a bit of metal and half a dozen tools in a tub) to emboss it. I have put on a pic of the detail... and i tried my best not to miss anything out.... i'm sure Teri will tell me if i have! I painted over the embossing with black acrylic paint and polished it off when it was almost dry as i only wanted a hint left in the deepest parts of the design.
Please come and join in with us... its a beautiful simple sketch to follow and you can win the 3 digi images from Teri.
You have until next sunday, so you have plenty of time.

This card was made using the sketch and image provided by our sponsor 3 weeks ago.... my 1st week back and i could post on my blog.... not good but ROSIE was terrific and told me 'no worries, family always come 1st' Thank you Rosie for bearing with me and being so understanding.
I made this card for my best crafting bud Jane, who also helps me look after my oldies.... what a brick she is.... and has done so much more than shes paid for these last few weeks.... thank you JANE you know i love ya loads and wish you every happiness in your new home.
Thanks for stopping by and dont forget to pop over to Rosie-dees and enter the challenge.
love lynx
