DE-STEMPELWINKEL DT PROJECTS.

It's my turn to post to the designers blog for DE-stempelwinkel today.
I am starting to get little ''stocking fillers' made for Christmas..... over the coming weeks i'm sure you'll see many more of my Christmas pressie makes.
I bought a pack of A7 size note books.... they came coverless..... in a pack of 12 for a pound!
I used good quality stamping card to make the covers,
stamped my images, then coloured .... I adhered them to the pads then covered them with clear sticky back plastic... the stuff you use to cover text books. This way the little note pads will last well in a handbag.
So far i've only made 3.... 9 more to go!

Also I have an ATC to show you that I forgot to post last Tuesday.
I stamped and masked my images, then stamped the woman walking and the nearest oblisk
onto thin card... I coloured the collaged images and the two extra images with distress inks.
I drew in lots of bubbles.... fussy cut and decoupaged my extra images...
I wanted the woman to seem as if she has just stepped into the picture...
it looks far better in real life!

All the stamps for both of these projects come from DE-STEMPELWINKEL.

Here is my ''Transparency' project.
Have you ever tried to stamp onto a canvas?
Well I have.... it didn't work to well....
so I'll show you a nice little cheat.
Stamp onto white tissue paper.....
 Use watered down PVA glue.....
.... and stick your stamped tissue paper on your canvas...
the tissue paper goes totally transparent and you keep the lovely texture of the canvas.
Allow to dry  then colour with whatever you fancy......
 I used pencils and pastels.
Thanks for visiting..... hope you'll be totally inspired by everything you see during this hop.

QUOTH THE RAVEN COLOUR CHALLENGE REMINDER.

Beloveds,
How the time doth fly, Herewith is a reminder
of the current QUEST #38 - COLOUR CHALLENGE.

I have an altered domino key ring today...
I used all of the colours for this one...
plus I made a box for it to go in.

We at QUOTH THE RAVEN welcome any kind of project....
our only requirement is that it is somehow connected to E.A.POE or this work.
You still have plenty of time to create a POE themed project using at least 3 of the colours above.
Easy peasy right?
The challenge ends...
26th NOVEMBER 2014at 1700hrs BST.

DE-STEMPELWINKEL..... BONFIRE NIGHT

Today it's my turn over at the DE-STEMPELWINKEL designers blog...
if you're from the UK you'll be driven crazy this evening by fireworks...maybe...if this awful rain stops,
as November 5th is Bonfire night, also called Guy Fawkes night,
I'm not quite sure what we are supposed to be celebrating.... a failed plot or the execution of those
involved....
''Remember, remember the 5th of November,
gunpowder, treason and plot....''
.....but my project today just shows the ''Little Critters'' having fun.
I've done a double page spread in my altered board book.

Stamped and masked.... i drew in the number '5' and the bonfires.
I coloured the scene with alcohol markers, pencils and ink.
When I began this book I thought i'd have it done in 6 to 8 weeks... turns out its more like 6 to 8 months.
All of the stamps used are exclusive to DE-STEMPELWINKEL.
