We on the Smeared ink DT have a designers blog hop the last Monday every month,
unfortunately, this month because of illness and various other personal issues its a very small blog roll.
BLACKDRAGON....me...you are here!
Our theme this month... as chosen by Shoni is
MARCH MADNESS.
Every month in my house is madness....
I brought some really quaint little bird houses to alter....my girls saw them and wanted one each....
of cause one had to be pretty...the other creepy....
WELCOME TO MY MAD HOUSE (s)
We wont dwell on the pretty one..... but here's a better look at the 'totally batty' house.
I made panels to cover the house from clay,
that I stamped using real rubber stamps from SMEARED INK
...painted plastic bats finished it off nicely.
Well thats my MARCH MADNESS..... TOTALLY BATTY!
Please visit Shell and Shoni.... see what they've come up with for this theme.
We have a new challenge starting today over at HDH MACABRE MONDAY,
my skully bat house fits in really nicely with the theme which is ...
SKULLDUGGERY
(use skulls in your project)
I had great fun a few days ago with my clay.... you might have seen a post of mine a couple of days ago with a chunky ATC....
well heres another....
Both sides feature rubber stamps from SMEARED INK rubber club.
Hope you'll join in our challenge...you have 2weeks ...well 13 days actually,
to create your project and share with us at HDH.
Thanks for stopping by..... BDx
OMG, BD! Both projects are beyond fabulous. Had to laugh when I first saw the March Madness because in my house that means the NCAA basketball tournament, LOL. Uh, guess not. since my team just lost, I like your interpretation MUCH better. gotta try that with my rubber. thanks for the inspiration, and for my HDH project, as well. You ROCK! xxD

I had a feeling before I read the deet's that you babies were involved some how. It shows their dueling personalities perfectly. How on earth did you get the clay to stick to the sides? Were the houses originally wood? Oh how I love how you take things and make them super awesome.

Both of your bird houses totally rock! I love them both! And your chunky ATC is awesome!
