Welcome to day #3 of the 3 day blog hop celebrating VALENTINES DAY
I wanted it to be one of those projects that you look at and think 'oh thats pretty''...
then look again!
I made the flowers from the same printed out digi image as i covered the bottom of the box with.
Also today you'll see another project of mine at QUOTH THE RAVEN,
later in the hop.... I have altered another of the board books my girls discarded years ago.
Again I have used some of the gorgeous digi papers from SMEARED INK,
you'll see whats inside when you get to QUOTH THE RAVEN.

There is nothing that you have done that I don't love. That's why we connected so early. I need to see a tutorial on those flowers. Yet again my daughter is in love with your work. It does look pretty at first but defiantly has some hidden charm. Once again I here the old kids board book idea. I need more info on that too. I can picture it already, but would love more inspiration. (idea wise, not creatively)
ReplyDeleteYour project is very pretty, love the flowers.
ReplyDeleteThat's darn bloody pretty! Hearts on box almost look like petals, but guess what? hahaaaa...love it. Beautiful roses and am even enjoying the heart charm on the front/side. Wow to the book and love the red hearts.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea. The gift wrap and the flowers are so pretty. Looks like an interesting project for QTR also...can't wait to get there!

ReplyDeleteAmazing projects... I was certainly caught out with the first pretty box. I didn't notice the hearts straight away. It has been wonderful visiting your blog during this hop.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous box, BD. Love the subtle creepiness and fabulous flowers. Can't wait to see the inside of your book, as well. Your projects are always beyond inspiring. xxD
ReplyDeleteYou have achieved your goal, BD. At first I saw the box and thought, "Oh, that's pretty. I wonder what's inside". Then I looked more closely and saw those luscious anatomical hearts! Well done, my friend! I can't wait to see more of your altered book :)
