this fortnight's Challenge #4 KRAZY KRITTERZ
I chose to work with these KOOKY KATZ...... making them the feature in the
''search for the perfect pumpkin.''
Sorry the light here is terrible and for some reason even my 'new' camera doesnt want
to photograph these pages.
I cut the shape i wanted from very heavy weight card.
I used all 6 KATZ x4 =24 and Smeared ink pumpkin patch (no longer available) x5 =
lots of colouring and even more fussy cutting!
I used various DP's for the backgrounds, journalling blocks,
.... sticky letters....
....ink, gel pens.... and a lot of heavy duty card.
Here is the little fella at the end of his quest....
he just wanted the PURRFECT pumpkin to sit his bottom on.

Your Kooky little book is so much fun. I can see it being a yearly tradition for you.

ReplyDeleteI always love seeing your work, BD. Don't apologize for the great pics of your work. They are fabulous. I love that pumpkin album. It is the perfect pumpkin. Great door for today too. I must definitely be leaning toward the dark side because when I saw the dead bird, I giggled. Yep, that's right. I giggled.

ReplyDeleteTextures in door are fab today! At first I was okay, Death. Then I saw that raven! He should not be peeking at death! Love it! That book rocks. Love the pumpkin stem and each page is pieced wonderfully. I do not know where you got all those pumpkins for each page. Fun, sweet, and found that puuurfect pumpkin just in time.

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh BD! Your creation for the IWC is out of this world!!! Are you planning on giving it to the grand dragons? Whoever gets it will have a fabulous creation and memory for all of time.

ReplyDeleteI just Truly Love your Pumkin cat book, it is for sure PERFECT!! Love how you make things darker then they are. I am guessing you add some brown ink to them?
