I have really cheated this week and combined my two DT pieces into one.... although both pieces are separate things really.
This is the complete piece...welcome to the FREAK SHOW.
SMUDGY ANTICS this week is ANYTHING GOES ......
SMUDGY ANTICS this week is ANYTHING GOES ......
Now come on guys...it doesnt get any easier than that.... does it? (please read the rules on the blog side bar.)
I altered a little freaky clown doll.... i made him new clothes out of felt... a top hat.... and a new face. I used the POE stamp from SMEARED INK's QUOTH THE RAVEN rubber set, stamped onto tissue paper.... painted my clowns face then stuck the Poe image on.
The flowers in his hat are also a SMEARED INK stamp.... from KILLER BO PEEP.
Itsn't he freaky?

You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween-based art piece
that uses the same image twice. Doesn't matter if it's a digi
or if it's stamped, or even hand drawn. Make it twice and make it
creepy or at least strange and unique.
We have a sponsor this week!

Now i'm no fan of cute images.... and most creepy cute images send me screaming to my dungeon, but DILLY BEANS.... I LIKE!
WEIRD...STRANGE...QUIRKY....the images not me! (well maybe me?)
I made this little house shaped Freak show.... one of my girls helped with the painting, cutting out the felt flags and sticking it all together...she even stitched the flags for me.... not bad for a 6yr old hey? The images are of cause DILLY BEANS....TWO IMAGES USED TWICE!
Images coloured with promarkers, die-cut letters...loads of paint and paste....an old card board box...scraps of felt...and textured paper i made from a tutorial at SMEARED and SMUDGED.
I really do hope you can join in with one if not both of these challenges this week.I shall enter the following challenges.....
