DAY 23 OF THE 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN

Welcome to day 23 of the 31 days..... i have a couple of things to share with you today, the 1st is as yet just a shabby Raven flower.... i'm dithering about what to do with it.... make it into a brooch or add it to a necklace or maybe onto a lace cuff/glove? The raven image is from smeared ink and stamped onto shrink plastic.... shrunk and placed into a mount and glazed. All the fabrics are from my enormous fabric stash. My 2nd piece is all stamped and masked...using stamps from THIRD COAST. I coloured it with promarkers and ink..... not very Halloween but quite haunting i thought.

I shall enter these into the following challenges.....

Thanks for visiting me today....the full blog list is still at the top of my sidebar.... Happy Sunday love lynx

  1. Hi BD, Hope all is well w/ you today!
Love your "Shabby" fabric flower, I have an idea for it, put it on a headband or on a barrette. Have you seen those headbands w/ huge flowers and "stuff" on them? well just a thought. I know you will come up w/ something better perhaps.
Love your other project, Haunting yes, naked girl running through a grave yard... Scary....
    Peace

  9. Both are wonderful. I think the flower would be an awesome brooch or maybe a great hat pin (on a steampunky hat).

I love the second piece which is creepy and beautiful at the same time.

  10. The flower is gorgeous. I love that the raven was done on shrink paper. It is the perfect center for the beautiful flower.

The crypt image is very haunting and awesome for Halloween.

  11. I like the idea of the flower at the wrist somehow - on a cuff or bracelet - very Victorian. Your scene is quite cryptic raising the question of what she is escaping from.

  12. Love the flower you made, as well as the card BD! Both are beautiful! I'm liking the idea of the flower on the wrist as well, like a "prom" corsage. Love the colors.
