This will be the first of two Halloween Releases by Smeared Ink.
The second release will be in September. There are a total of 11 digi sets being released on 07/15/11 plus one preview single image from the September release. Anyone who loves creepy....there is even a creepy cute set!.... Zombies.... Day of the dead..... or just plain weird (ME!) you need to do this blog hop and have a look at the images.............. then go to the SMEARED INK STORE....... over the next 5 days i'll be showing the ones i was given to create with...... my 1st offering is from the A BIT BATTY set.................
i've made a wall hanging..... sort of in the style of a Victorian trophy.............. six layers of this wonderful digi image.... all aged and fussy cut..... and i do mean fussy cut..... are decoupaged onto my painted and distressed 10 inch circular canvas. I used chipboard letters, painted and distressed....and a definition from a vintage dictionary..... and a row of studs around the edge.
Below is the list of blogs you need to visit..... in any order you want.....
Heres a close up of the fussy cut face..... i was pretty pleased with how it came out.... it looks pretty real.
I shall also enter the following challenges,
http://quirkycrafts.blogspot.com/ NO PATTERNED DP'S......... mines a painted background
http://thecraftypad.blogspot.com/ LOTS OF TEXTURE........ cracked paint on canvas, studs, 3D paper sculpture in the centre.
