TRY IT ON TUESDAY

This is the 1st time in yonks i have had a dt piece ready fot TIOT..... sorry guys for being such a flake.... but this one i really wanted to do, so had it ready awhile back!
The new challenge is to MAKE A TAG ....ONE FOR THE BOYS. I printed my words out on the puter then stamped and masked my background ..... coloured it with ink and pencils.....stamped, cut and pasted poppies....
i added washers and a clock.......





and a picture of my grandad, taken in 1939...

he was just 19. Now he is just a frail, senile old man..... but he has seen so much... and the 'distant past' he remembers like yesterday..... but he cant remember what he had for breakfast!

    Aww Lyn how bittersweet this is. We have missed you lots but know you have so much on caring for the oldies. What an amazing grand daughter you are in the midst of all the difficulties you face on a daily bass to remember and record this stunning beautiful piece of art from your Grandads past. I love the mixture of techniques and media you have used. Honestly Lyn you are an inspiration to us all xxx
