MACABRE MONDAY

Well its Monday again so its gotta be MACABRE, and as usual we have a new challenge for you.... and this weeks its...............
....................................................My Beloved Monster
You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Halloween-based project with a monstrous theme. Big ones, short ones, ones that are cuddly & fat... scary ones, hairy ones, whatever kind of monster rocks your world. So let's just say we wanna see monsters in any size, shape, color or form!







I chose to make a book, its approx 4"x4".... made from scratch, in the traditional way..... the pages are stitched in place.....

...its bound in leather.... has a ribbon attached inside the spine ..... just like the old 'classy books have, to act as a book mark......

..... it has distressed blank pages for you to write about or draw your own monsters..... its fitted with a lock and key..... wanna keep your monsters locked away safely, dont ya?

......................... and i have used 12 different TELLENS PLACE IMAGES...... coloured with just a 5B pencil and a terricotta sketching pencil..................

............the pages are distressed with black ink................ and the images have been smudged.... using a 5B pencil you cant do much else but smudge it!
