Macabre mondays

Sorry its evening but it is still MONDAY so it has to be MACABRE and we have a new challenge for you and we are being sponsored by our very own SUSAN of CRAFTYCHAOS DESIGNS http://www.craftychaosdesigns.co.uk/....... our new challenge is 'Paper Pandemonium '... meaning you have to use 2 designer papers........
I have used 2 of the papers from the VELVET DESCENT collection from CRAFTYCHAOSDESIGNS.
I covered a gift box top in one of them and distressed the edges, and covered the 4sides of the bottom with a different paper..... and distressed that too. I didnt want to use an 'image' because i felt that the papers needed to take centre stage.....
I made a shabby-chic flower from the same paper as i used on the bottom of the box..... some crocheted mesh, black feathers and i silk flower under my flower...... i popped a tiny silver rose in the centre of the flower i made.




Inside the box is a necket i made.... i used one of tim holtz fragment/charm thingies and used diamond glaze to stick a piece of DP to the underside..... i added metal flowers, skulls, chains, beads a heart and a fairy.... this made a sort of goth-punk pendant thing....click on the pic to get a better look..... its hung from cord and ribbons.
