Ok .... this isnt very halloweenie.... but it does have a skull on it..... Stampitcrazy skull i might add.... and its layered! The rest of the bits on this wall hanging are salvaged from PEPSI cans and bottles.... the base is hard board that my Dad kindly cut into a circle for me..... i painted it blue...PEPSI blue. This is for Barb along with a couple of other Pepsi salvage things i'm working on....... when you have a friend with a strange fetish...you just have to go with the flow!
It would be great if you could come and join in with us this week..... take the PEPSI CHALLENGE...... SORRY RON if you're reading this i know you are a COKE man!!!!
Anyhow ....... i thought i'd also share something a little more sinister with you all today.....
'All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream' one of my favourite E A POE quotes....
and to illistrate it ....i have used non sequitur, inkadinkadoo and various other stamps.... on a background i made using the paint and straw bubble blowing technique....love doing this with the girls!
Have a great sunday.... see ypu tomorrow for day #18..... the WICKED BLOG list is at the top of my side bar.... hope you have fun looking at all the great projects these ladies have on offer.

Hiya Lyn. I dont know where you get your inspiration from, but its on fire at the moment girl. You make the most amazing works of art and these are just the same, brilliant. Happy crafting
ReplyDeleteWith love, Sandra xx
They are both amazing
ReplyDeleteLyn, you have such a talent for making anything droll seem out of the ordinary in such a fantastic way! I LOVE PEPSI, which is never droll, but the best drink ever -- sorry Ron...heehee...What a cool wall hanging and love the Pepsi dies you used to decorate it. I especially love that skull - the way you 3D'd it and the beads for eyes - very clever! It really stands out and he looks cuckoo...the way a skull should look when it's wired on Pepsi! Yum! I love your EAP renditions - very creepy and to the macabre - Vincent Price would be ecstatic! The straw blowing - gotta try that; haven't done it since I was a kid and you're right, it makes the best backgrounds! Can I have the girls for a day or two so that we can have fun doing this too? :-D I need some kidlets around every now and then you know! ;-)
ReplyDeleteCrazy WOW BD! The Pepsi piece is hysterical! I had to give up my beloved Pepsi a few months ago, because I am a bit overweight. I gave it up in August, and have since lost 15 pounds! I guess it really is very fattening!! And your latest Poe creation is wonderful! Love the monochrom, and the way you bring it all together!! Super fab!
ReplyDeleteamazing!! what a talent x
ReplyDeleteAnd yet another couple of fantastic pieces enters the world of BD. The pepsi circle is a hoot. Halloweenified pepsi!! The Poe is on another level. The background is fantastic - I haven't done that since **I** was a kid. the choice of stamps is inspired. I never even knew there were that many Poe stamps out there. Love it
