TUESDAY TAGGERS

It is (still, just!) tuesday and that means its TUESDAY TAGGERS.... and this weeks theme has been picked by....ME! So guess what the theme is......? Pink and fru-fru? Cute and cuddly?....NO my theme for this week is BLACK.
So i teamed my 2 favourite colours together.... Red and Black and came up with this card.
The stamp is from the STAMPMAN http://www.thestampman.co.uk/catalog/ and i have been wondering what to do with it..... i stamped and embossed in black onto red card, tore the bottom edge and one side....and matted it onto black card, that i also tore along the bottom and one side.I then matted that onto a piece of patterned red paper from my stash... tore the bottom off it and stuck the 2 bits to my black card blank.
I used a naked chipboard 'love' and covered it in 3 coats of sparkly red embossing powder, made holes in it and mounted it to my card with red ribbon.
Oooops nearly forgot.... i smeared black ink around all my edges..... and added diamond glaze to the eyes.
Please come and join in with us this week.... go and look at TUESDAY TAGGERS CHALLENGE BLOG..... for enough inspiration to last a lifetime.... the girls have done the most amazing job... and considering it was my challenge they have all beaten me at my own game!
Thanks for visiting me today love lynx

  5. Hello Lyn. Just amazing. You always come up with something very different and very special, such a fabulous creative talent. You know I just love that colour combination, one of my favourites. Happy crafting and I really do hope that you are keeping well. Take care.

  6. Just fabulous! And because of all the back-and-forth we had about red and black digi papers, I have to ask, is it showing on-screen in the same shade of red as in real life? I still believe there "must" be a way around the problem, I just can't figure out what it is :P

  10. This is a very sexy card, you little vixen, you! I happened on Robin's blog and there she mentioned a "Lyn" and the dark side and I saw the card and said, is this my Lyn? Oh yes, the dark and sexy side she tries to hide - this is really a lovely card. I know you love black and see you mix red with it - well, THIS is very stunning; love the stamping and paper distressing - very clever. What a gorgeous stamp!
