ROSIEDEE'S

This wees challenge over at ROSIEDEE'S has been chosen by my teamie TRACY and is........
can you guess by looking at my creation? .......................... ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL.... did ya get it right?
I used one of TELLENS PLACE's http://tellensplace.blogspot.com/ fantastic dark images for my 'great' creature and tiny stamps of little strange critters from DE-STEMPELWINKEL http://www.de-stempelwinkel.nl/ for my 'small' creatures.
I made a scenic backdrop using stamps from DESTEMPELWINKEL ..... everything is coloured with water colours and ink.
I tattered the edges of the scene and the card stock i mounted it on.
I made it into a sort of easel card type thing so that it stands.

This is a closer look at the 'great' creature.... i think he's so totally creepy...... a bit dragon, a bit minator..... but totally freaky.... LOVE HIM!

Please come and join us this week or next, as our challenges run for a fortnight you have plenty of time to play.... check out what the other DT members have done..... dont be put off by my creation.... everyone on the team has done something wonderful and nowhere near as strange as mine...... but hey!!!! STRANGE is my middle name.

DARKNESS INSPIRATION http://darknessinspiration.blogspot.com/ has the challenge of MONSTERS..... so i think i'll enter this there..... although i'm not sure that he's really a monster.... most dragony type things are usually pussy-cats on the inside.
Thanks for visiting me. love lynx

  1. It's a lovely design, Lyn and of course colored wonderfully, all green and buffed...why must these dark creatures be built so well and be so hideous at the same time --- LOL! I think it's from Markus's days watching "He-Man." :-) I love how you can smudge things up and come out with a winner - very nicely done my friend.

  2. Do I hear a "meow"? LOL! I love how you make your magic world into scenes. I hope one day to be able to do the same, but I haven't mastered that damn-hell making! Great work as usual, my friend!
