Barb at MACABRE MONDAYS issued the challenge of ODE TO THE BRUISE..... using the colours BLACK, YELLOW, TEAL AND PURPLE.This is my take on that and also the challenge at BURTONESQUE DOLLS http://theburtonesquedolls.blogspot.com/ where they wanna see STRIPES .......... and the challenge at stampinsanity http://stampinsanity.com/blog/ where its an EASEL CARD.
I really have been enjoying making these little scenes..... The door is CRAFTY INDIVIDUALS, the faerie is THIRD COAST, the bat, grave stone and birds are INKADINKADOO.
Everything is stamped then coloured with watercolours and ink.... chinese white pencil for the highlights.Most of the 'things' are mounted on foam to give diamention.... the flowers and leaves are punched from paper i coloured to match... layered up and gems added.
This was so much fun to make.... lots of cutting and fiddling about but FUN!Thank you for visiting me today..... if you feel you can vote for my tin, i'd be chuffed, but if you go to SMEARED INK and find you like one of the other 2 items better VOTE for them instead.....

ReplyDeleteI am totally stunned. This is the most gorgeous card ever! EVER! I love this card. I've always loved gravestones but this little scene... speechles. Those flowers alone most have taken you forever. Love the scene you created. I cannot say enough praise about this one. Oh I want this one. (it's almost my birthday... yes that is a tiny not so subtle hint). You've won in my book!
