Mega post.... sorry guys

This is my Dt piece this week for TELLENS PLACE http://tellensplace.blogspot.com/ where we have a colour combo...PINK AND BROWN.... not really my sort of colours but i gave it a go and used one of the brilliant new images available from the TELLENS PLACE STORE... coloured her with copics... i stamped a scene, coloured it with water colours and stamped coloured and cut out quite a few rocks, which i 3D'd with foam tape. I mounted my scene onto brown, black and pink card stock.
PLEASE come and play along this week.... it wasnt my fav colours but i dont think my easel card is to bad.... do you?

this one is using THE FIRE GODDESS from THE ELEMENTALS plate and one of the ladies from CHICKS DIG GUNS. I followed the card sketch for may on the forum. unusuallfor me i have used promarkers and copics.
This arch card was my entry last week at SMEARED INK. I used one of the stamps from the NYMPHS plate and birds from HOLY CITY. its all coloured with water colours.

This week at TUESDAY TAGGERS http://tuesdaytaggers.blogspot.com/ the theme is SOMETHING FOR A MAN..... this is for my dad....

i have used DCWV card stock... STAMP IT CRAZY image.... coloured with water colours.... the letters are just stick ons that i pinched...no ...borrowed from my girls......

.....and the ass/donkey stamp i have had for ages.... sorry dont know where i got him.

This card is also going on the SMEARED AND SMUDGED FORUM..... in SASSY PANTS....

made grass for the 2 babies to sit in from a silk flower leaf.....

and 3D'd the mother dragons head and the baby dragon flying up to kiss her.

I adore Dragons and i'm sure they are adoring mothers!

Dragonsdream, tag it on.

As i've been in a bit of a bleak mood recently i made this tag..... its all stamped and watercoloured.... as usual.... and it depicts 'the last journey'.... and we'll all have a ticket to ride one day.

Tellens place

Good morning again you guys.... its wednesday.... yep i know i just posted a sunday and a tuesday dt piece.... (see posts below...please) but at least i'm on the ball with this one!
I would like to introduce you to 'Clawed'.... i have wanted to use him since i first saw Markus' drawing.... Markus is the Tellens place artist.... and i think his 'creepy' images are TOTALLY FANTASTIC!
The theme this week is THE BEACH..... well i wasnt gonna do a bucket and spade jobby was i?

Here is my project..... beautiful evening..... clear water.... peaceful and quiet...... but with something strange creeping amongst the rocks......

My scene is made up of CHERRY PIE STAMPS and make a scene from CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS. Its all coloured with ink and water colours.... the rocks and sand dunes are stamped, coloured and cut out .... 3D'd to give the depth i wanted.

Clawed is not stuck on.... he can be moved and placed where ever you want him.... i have kept moving him about amongst the rocks and dunes..... i am a big kid at heart.... i play like a child!

Anyway i hope you like yet another of my 'make a scene' easel cards.... and please come and join in this challenge... we all love to visit and see what you come up with...... do something weird and wacky like me for a change.... Tuesday taggers

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TUESDAY TAGGERS!
Hi all you wonderful Taggers and a HUGE THANK YOU to you all for playing along with us and making our first 12 months such fun.
To celebrate our bloggerversary we wanted to give everyone a present but if we made them all ourselves it would take us all next year so we thought of a way for everyone to get a little pressy and a piece of cake and that's the challenge for this week!

My tag using Teri's lovely cake image.... free for you if you want it before next monday, is embossed onto metal.... the metal is Browner than it looks in the photo but i am no good at photos.... photos are another thing on my not good at list!

The ribbons are brown...chocolate brown and i have now put a cream one on as well cos when i took this pic i couldnt find my cream ribbon for the life of me....typical hey?

Rosie Dee's challenge

I am really sorry folks and rosie but i should have posted this on sunday but my mind was on other things.... my one brain cell was severly over worked!
This is just a sneak-peek of my project for the new challenge... you need to go over to rosiedees to see the whole thing... and even though i say it myself its not bad .... and the rest of the dt have made some lovely things this fortnight,,, mind you they always do.

Stampinsanity

Well i was stunned to find out that i am the 'APRIL GROOVY PARTITION WINNER'... thanks guys.
This weeks challenge is to either make a background using a technique that they.... the groovy girls have outlined on the blog or use a background you have made yourself.
My backgroung is made using white acrylic paint mixed with a little washing up liquid and applied with a sponge.... the small picture below show the texture slightly better than this one.... you can make wonderful storm cloud formations with it on black card.... i also dabbed just a tiny amount of silver acrylic in as well just to catch the light... i then used a CHERRY PIE tree to stamp branches around the edge.
The image is a new digi from stamps happen http://www.stamphappens.com/shop/ coloured with copic and promarkers and dabbed with black ink... as normal!
I mated the image/background on to a piece of brown card that i distressed then on to a piece of basic grey paper i inked the edges of, then on to my black card base.
I used a black ribbon, knotted and frayed, mounted on to distressed brown card just to finish this card off.
Isnt she a beautiful vampire?

BURTONESQUE DOLLS

The challenge at BURTONESQUE DOLLS this week is to make something with a doll heroine or chick on that wouldnt be out of place in a tim burton film.
I have used a wonderful stamp from STAMPITCRAZY http://stampitcrazy.blogspot.com/
she is coloured with promarkers... and i removed her wings.... she never felt a thing honest!
I altered a piece of Basic Grey paper to match in with my coloured image and matted it onto a piece of paper i coloured the edges of... with the same red i'd already used on this project... i distressed the edges... and inked them all with my usual black ink.

Barb at STAMPITCRAZY set the challenge of SAD ANGEL and a SENTIMENT... heres my offering... a little late but should be ok as Barb has been away at a stamping show.
I dont know where or when i got the dear little boy angel.... but i know the brick wall is a DIMENTION FORTH stamp.
I masked him and stamped the wall... its all water colours and inks....1st atc i've made all week!

Playing catch-up... DRAGONSDREAMS

Frankie over at DRAGONSDREAMS this week has a guest designer and she , Janet has choosen as a theme... ALONG THE RIVER.
I sketched and water coloured this scene of New york from the river and used a T!m Holtz stamp for the words.... for the challenge you must use at least one real stamp.... that i actually forgot about.... then thought these words were quite nice with the scene.

Tellens place

Well its wednesday and this is my project for TELLENS PLACE this week..... the challenge this week is to use a TAG.... you can just make a tag like i have or make something with a tag on it.
I have made a triptych tag.... plain black outside, held together by a chain and padlock..... open it and inside is.................... A creepy grave yard.... the wonderful she-devil is of cause a TELLENS PLACE digi image..... the spooky tree is STAMPITCRAZY http://stampitcrazy.blogspot.com/ and the grave stones are from THIRD COAST.

I brayered my background with 2 shades of blue and one of purple ink.

Stamped the tree scene in black and stamped just the branches across the top in places.
I stamped the grave stones/grass twice on to off cuts of the background and coloured with ink.

I printed out the she-devil and coloured her with watercolours.... then i cut all my stamped bits out and created my scene... i used foam pads on some bits to give depth.... i sponged black ink on everything to darken them to give the impression of night-time.... and sponged over the background as well.

When everything was 'together' i addsd high-lights with a chinese white pencil... i put 2 eyelets in the front... treaded a chain through and around, fastened with a small padlock... i put an eyelet in the top, threaded though the chain with the keys.... and YES the keys do reach the lock.... now they do... they didnt originally!

By the way, when closed this tag measures four and a half inches by three inches so its not very big!

Tuesday taggers... out of my comfort zone by 10 miles!

Sally chose the challenge at TUESDAY TAGGERS this week.... THANK YOU SALLY!!!!! Not!!! But seriously it made me 'think' so its a brilliant challenge... and its to step out of your comfort zone.... DO SOMETHING THATS NOT YOUR USUAL THING.......
So for you sally.... i went with white.... normally black.... and patterned mirri card.... normally dull or well inked! Or both! I used one of the GODDESS stamps from SMEARED INK http://www.smearedink.com/ embossed in gold..... cut down and mouned on gold mirricard... then i mounted that onto white card i'd punched all the edges on... then on more mirricard.... then more white... more mirri and finally onto a white card base. I added flower brads to 3 corners of the punched white card layer and 3 silk flowers with brads in the centre and gold ribbon to the fourth corner.

This is as far from my normal style as i could get.....( the only thing more unlike 'me' would be a fur-fabric pink cat) GOLD,WHITE, FLOWERS, LAYERS, AND RIBBON...... BUT I AM PLEASED WITH HOW LOVELY THE STAMP LOOKS EMBOSSED..... CLASSY!

NOT ME AT ALL!!!

Well its only friday and i have done my MACABRE MONDAYS!

Barb at MACABRE MONDAYS issued the challenge of ODE TO THE BRUISE..... using the colours BLACK, YELLOW, TEAL AND PURPLE.
This is my take on that and also the challenge at BURTONESQUE DOLLS http://theburtonesquedolls.blogspot.com/ where they wanna see STRIPES .......... and the challenge at stampinsanity http://stampinsanity.com/blog/ where its an EASEL CARD.

I really have been enjoying making these little scenes..... The door is CRAFTY INDIVIDUALS, the faerie is THIRD COAST, the bat, grave stone and birds are INKADINKADOO.

Everything is stamped then coloured with watercolours and ink.... chinese white pencil for the highlights.Most of the 'things' are mounted on foam to give diamention.... the flowers and leaves are punched from paper i coloured to match... layered up and gems added.

This was so much fun to make.... lots of cutting and fiddling about but FUN!

Cor i nearly missed this one..... forgot to put it on yesterday!
The challenge at STAMP INSANITY .... WHICH ENDS TONIGHT! was to take inspiration from a picture ...... this is what i came up with.... i brayered over basic grey paper with orange and blue ink.... mounted it onto black card stock then onto an orange card base.
The images is from Stamp insanity... its a digi image... coloured with promakers and chinese white pencil.
I added orange organza ribbon with a piece of old jewelry..... i recoloured the centre stone blue and the small stones round it with sukura souffle pens.

Tellens place

This weeks challenge at Tellens place is to use either BUTTERFLIES or DRAGONFLIES in your design piece.
I used my brayer to colour a back ground and stamped in black ELUSIVE IMAGES tree scene. I high lighted some of the limbs with china white pencil. I printed out my TELLENS PLACE image on white card, then traced the wings onto vellum.
I coloured her in with water colours and cut her out.... then chopped off her wings! I coloured the vellum wings with sukura pens, cut them out and attached them to my card image.

I mounted her onto the scene with foam pads... then attached it to an easel card......

I made a black rose and punched some black leaves from black card as well.

I stamped 3 butterflies onto vellum, coloured them with sukura pens, then cut them out and mounted them onto the easel card base near the rose to complete my scene.

I shall also enter this into BIZZY BECS.....the link is on my sidebar... where the challenge for may is FLOWERS AND WINGS.
