SMEARED AND SMUDGED 1st members blog hop

WELCOME TO THE SMEARED AND SMUDGED 1st BLOG HOP.

Welcome to the first ever Smeared and Smudged Forum Member Blog Hop! This hop is all about featuring the fascinating and talented members of the Smeared and Smudged forum. We have twenty-one different member blogs for you to visit and peruse, all of which are displaying wonderful projects for your enjoyment!

If you don't know what the Smeared and Smudged forum is all about, let me tell you a little bit about it............its a group with other stampers who enjoy vintage, gothic, alternative, and out-of-the-norm stamping. .... and my darker style stuff fits in well.... everyone is friendly, helpful and supportive.... and have such fun unique ideas.... i REALLY love this place.... i actually fit in!

For details of my box project please go to the bottom of this post..... the pictures should have been at the bottom but they ended up at the top and being a techno-idiot i have no idea how to alter it.!!!!

You can visit in any order you like.... just jump in... i know you'll find amazing stuff on show.

The box at the top of this post i made for this event... although i wanted at the bottom of the post but blogger thought other wise and its at the darned top!

The paint i used i mixed so that it has a subtle lustre... without being shiney. I stamped the skull in the centre (the skull is from dimention forth) and added swirls, i then drew around the swirls with a metallic green sukura pen.... coloured the skull with a white sukura souffle pen then distressed and black inked the whole box... all the edges have had silver metallic ink brushe over then smeared.

Please come and give us at SMEARED and SMUDGED a look.... i've only been there a couple of weeks but i was made to feel welcome and everyone is friendly, helpful and totally inspiring.

Thanks for visiting me today.... see you soon love lynx

Great to hear someone else say that :)I do a lot of papercrafts for submission to mags etc and they never want to see darker art so my blog has to be bright and cheery if I want a chance at anything lol!
