MY last CORROSIVE DT piece and MACABRE MONDAYS

The theme this week over at CORROSIVE CHALLENGES is ASIAN THEMED.... and Barbs theme for MACABRE MONDAYS is GOTHIC ASIAN PERSUASION..... SO I HAVE SPENT THIS WEEK COMBINING THE 2 CHALLENGES.
i wanted to do something a little different for my last DT spot at CORROSIVE and when Barb put her challenge up on monday.... I HAD IT!
The stamps are mainly NON-SEQUITUR.... but the odd one maybe isnt! I have used paint, ink, and sukura pens watered down, the flowers on the top are bits from my stash with tuille and net... TUESDAY TAGGERS,,,,SHUSHHHHHHhhhhhh!
In 'real life' this little box has a metallic lustre to the red paint... i spent ages mixing it and now it doesnt show to well in the pictures.... all the edges are blackened but glossy.

The gothic heart/skull stamp are CHERRY PIE and the jonny ones are STAMPITCRAZY.

DARKNESS INSPIRATION

The challenge this fortnight at DARKNESS INSPIRATIONS is..........SCARY CLOWNS....
the challenges i like doing are having a run on clowns at the moment and i really dislike them... they give me the heebees.
Thes 2 ATC'S were made using a T!M HOLTZ stamp as the background and Markus the artist at TELLENS PLACE drew me the skullz.... they are so creepy and wonderfully easy to alter... i'm gonna do a lot with these i know for sure!
Both atcs are coloured with water-colours and ink.... the bottom one has glitter card put behind the skullz eyes.... the other has a red nose made from one of those candy-dot things.

Dragonsdream, tag it on. . .IS BACK!!!

I was a regular doing this challenge then all of a sudden it stopped.... i kept checking... you know how you do.... but week after week no new challenge no post.... what had happened?
Anyhow.... turns out Frankie whose 'dream' this challenge is .... is none to well.... but desperately wants her challenge to continue.... so this week i am her GUEST DESIGNER.... and my challenge is 'TIGER'..... so think 'year of.....' stripes...... the colours.... whatever 'TIGER' says to you and make a tag.... any size ,any shape..... but it must include at least one 'real' stamp.
My tag is all stamped and masked.... the Tiger is from de stempelwinkel, the waterfall is non sequetur, as is the bamboo.
I coloured with my usual water colours and inks.... plus chinese white added to the water.

Tellens place

Its wednesday and our new challenge at TELLENS PLACE IS .... ANYTHING GOES.... use your favourite Tellens place image..... Terry has give lots as freebies since this challenge begun and this week if you havent got one there is a really cute freebie for you to use.... or go and look in the shop.... you can buy EDWARD.... he is my favourite and i used 3 different images of him to make this key ring.
Digi images can be used for almost everything a 'real' stamp can be used for and this week i thought i'd use them with shrink plastic.... mainly cos i found my stash of shink and wanted to use it!
I used clear plastic and traced the image with a permanent pen... roughly coloured him in as i wanted a grungy-used look to go with the coppery/brass chain and recycled bits i used.... cut them out properly not just into rectanges like i often do and thats it.... one EDWARD keyring.... in a few weeks time TELLENS PLACE shall be having a BLOG HOP and i shall give my DEAR-EDWARD keyring away..... more on the HOP another time.... i might be in the dog-house now for mentioning it but so many of you had fun with us last time i just wanted to tell you we'll be at it again soon.

Tuesday taggers..... GET MESSY!

What a great challenge this week.... i always get messy and work in total chaos.... but to actually take a picture of it? Now that was a challenge! I had to wash my hands to get the camera so you cant see the state my hands were in but i'm sure you can imagine!
I have altered a little set of drawers.... painted them with a paint i mixed... matt black with just a hint of glitter.... stamped and embossed every side and then sanded it.... my grandad couldnt believe i'd do all that work then attack it with a sanding block.... he watched in amazement.... unfortunatly he'd forgotten by tea time and asked where i got the 'box' but hey.... thats grandad! I highlighted edges and corners with gold, then sanded... had an awful lot of fun.... really i should have photographed my trousers as they were filthy as i sanded it on my lap in the kitchen.
I used T!m Holtz stamps and china white embossing powder.

corrosive challenge.... THINGS WITH WINGS

The theme really suited me this week.... i couldnt make up my mind what to do... until my new stamps arrived and i just had to use one of them.... so her she is.... beautiful hey?
SWEETPEA stamp coloured with ink, glitter on the wings and chinese white pencil... it doesnt show to well but the globe shes holding and her eyes have diamond glaze on them.

DARKNESS INSPIRATION

The challenge this fortnight is DARK AND SINISTER MOON... heres my offering... all stamped and masked, coloured with water colour pencils and lots of black ink.

Raise the bar

The challenge at 'Raise the bar'.... my 1st time there.... is 'BE MINE FOREVER'... and no its not a mushy valentine theme is something you could not create/craft/live without..... well for me i could never give up my black ink, and my creepy stamps... or non-creepy stamps actually... they are mine all MINE!!!

STAMPITCRAZY

The challenge at STAMPITCRAZY this week is 'SEND IN THE CLOWNS'.... so i have sent them in as lunch, main course and dessert for Hannibal lector.... you may have seen a post from earlier in the week... i really NO, REALLY dont like clowns....
These 2 ATC's are all stamped and masked...( i know the 'server and side view clown are from de stempelwinkel... the other clown i'm not sure about... sorry.... the leaves are a tiny peg stamp)i have coloured them with water colour pencils and ink.... plus i used a white gel pen.

OTHER-LOVELIES

I have been meaning to enter this newish challenge for the last 2 weeks and have never got it done but this week i have although i think i am to late! Typical... right?
Anyway the challenge was to use a digistamp.... any digi... so i used the free image from TELLENS PLACE last week.... and made her into a creepy valentine... Suzanne at OTHERLOVELIES seems to be a valentines fan.... i'm not the lovey-dovey sort... this ATC is more me.... water colours and inks to colour plus a white gel pen and a purple promarker... DONE!!!

Tellens place

This weeks challenge at Tellens place is BIRTHDAYS.... so thats a simple one for ya.... everyone needs birthday cards.... even me... so this week i made a card! WOW.... not good at cards.
I used DCWV card and paper.... the sentiment is one of theirs as well.... 'Best friends for ever, or til you tick me off'..... How true is that for some people? I used my favourite TELLENS PLACE chappy... EDWARD.... coloured him with promarkers, stapled some ribbon on the edge and hey-ho i made a card!

Tuesday taggers

This week the theme at TUESDAY TAGGERS is clocks/time.
I kept it simple.... thats what i do best.... stamped the image( from de stemplewinkel), masked it and masked and stamped a clock face all around it.... not sure who made the clock face...sorry!
I coloured it with water colour pencils, white pencil/gel pen and blue and black ink, mounted it on to a black backing... and thats it another fat-book page done.... very simple, like me!

corrosive challenge

The challenge this week at CORROSIVE is to have stitching on your creation.... real or faux... its up to you.
I made this atc using chamois leather.... stamped with saddle brown stazon... its a TANDA STAMPS stamp of native americans and i stamped the word 'simplicity' but not sure where it came from. I 'stitched' round the edge with a leather thong and made 3 dangly beady thingys... i couldnt find my feathers so i made faux ones! You really need to feel this.... its so soft... i keep stroking it... sad hey?!

Rosie and Dee's challenge

The challenge at ROSIE-DEES has until sunday to run and after the sneak-peek you have had this is my offering in the whole....
The image is from digital ink who are sponsoring us this fortnight and the theme is 'JUST FOR MEN'
The Armydude toad is coloured with water colour pencils, i've used ink to colour the base card, a piece of very thin wood down the left hand edge some raffia, some recycled brown paper that i stamped with 7gypsies stamps and some army type bits i got somewhere sometime!
The card was made for my nephew Ash's 17th birthday.

Art on the darkside...

The challenge at ART ON THE DARKSIDE is fear..... i have one true fear but i can not even try to depict it.... so i have done an atc of something that really chills me to the bone... CLOWNS.... oh i really find them unsettling.... creepy.... grotesque.... and plenty of other words that i had better not use incase my dad looks in this week!
Its all just stamped and coloured with red and black ink.... some chinese white for high lights and diamond glaze on the disgusting bulbous red nose.

Tellens place

Ok.... i am an idiot.... this should have been posted yesterday.... wednesday.... but somehow i didnt do it.... dementia..? senility maybe..? or just plain stupidity... ? I dont know what happened...... anyway SORRY terry and the guys at TELLENS PLACE....
This weeks challenge at TELLENS PLACE is VALENTINES/LOVE and to use at least 5 HEARTS.
Well i'm not into lovey-dovey mushy stuff so i made a large wall hanger.... i love you, nearly as much as i love star trek..... very sad but very true.... i do LOVE STAR TREK.
I used K&CO smitten papers.... one as a background and another i cut hearts out of.... inked all the edges with red and black... oh yes... got my black ink out!!!.... used photos off the 'net'.... black lace from my stash and the DIVINE image from Tellens place.... doesnt she just scream "I'm a trekkie" when shes coloured like this? Shes coloured with promarkers and the heart is paper pieced to match the other cut out hearts.
Please come and give us a look this week.... theres a lovely FREE image.... i'm working on something a little different with her at the moment.... another slightly off track valentine!
