stampin for the weekend.... purple and yellow.. ANOTHER ANGEL i said on friday, i'd do a proper project for this challenge... here it is..
I stamped a craft individuals angel onto vellum and coloured with metallic pencils, in shades of purple and yellow, then took a 3''x3'' wood frame, painted it yellow, used various stamps to age & distress it... darkened the edges with purple ink and added couple of purple paper flowers and some mica powder to add a bit of an 'ethereal' glow.

What a beautiful picture frame you have created, the distressing is just perfect on this and the extra inking with the purple around the edges is fabulous to highlight certain areas of the edges and you've picked lovely swirl flourishes for the side stamps and it's a fabulous sentiment as well. Definitely worth all the hard work you've put into it.

I love the frame, but the way you have stamped the image onto vellum and then coloured it with the metallic pencils is stunning, such a clever idea and it looks beautiful, clever you.   6. Wow and I rhought your atc was good lol :) This is stunning I love the beautiful sentiment and the image is perfect you have got such a great effect with the metalic pencils on the vellum. There is just so much detail and work that you have put in and it really shows.

  8. Wowee this is stunning! Your frame is fantastic and I am loving your swirl and sentiment stamps. The distressing and darkened edges of purple give an amazing effect. Loving your gorgeous angel, those metallics are so beautiful on the vellum. Wow this sure is a delight to view.
