Here we are again... DAY #5  Today has Mr Poe showing you two necklace/earing sets I made with a Hallowe'en theme.

On the left is black crystals with black and silver seed beads adorned with silver tone spiders....

on the right, Topaz crystals, bronze and gold sead beads with bronze toned bats.

I am loving the new 'rules' for this blog hop.... I can mix up my projects like never before. Here we are on  DAY#4.... No Mr Poe today and NO STAMPING.... Around here everyone puts wreathes on their doors for all sorts of occasions/events, I decided to make my own when I saw the price in the shops at the beach...between $85 and $120... this one cost to make just on $21.... much better.
Here it is on our back door....

Just a better look at the skelly spider and sign.... 

its quite a large wreath the base is 24'' ...it fits the door nicely.

Hello again... here we have Mr Poe with my DAY #3 project.

This was a very plain tealight holder.... its amazing how often our power goes off here....

nearly every thunder storm we lose power for a little while.... and in the summer we get lots of thunder storms! 

This little holder could be in for a fair bit of use now its not so 'plain'

I used clay to improve its looks.

The skulls are a stamp from the much missed SMEARED INK company....

I used paint to give it the look of  carved stone.

I love this technique and i'm sure you see a few more clay/stamped things from me very soon during this hop.

Welcome to Day #2.... here we have Mr Poe having a 'butchers' at todays project.

I have made a simple black/white/grey pocket letter.... I enhanced a piece of 'Bo bunny' DP, with loads of stamps from various companies.

Really these are just 9x ATCS.... which make up into one large stamped collage.

I made and swapped a few of these 18months ago... before I went AWOL.

 Would any of you 'hoppers' like to swap a pocket letter with me? This one needs a home to go to....

Its been an awfully long while since I have blogged... well over a year due to my home move... packing and unpacking. I now have a new craftroom and have been putting it to some use. I missed the 31 days last year as I was packing up my old home/craftroom.... I'd completed every 31 day blog hop since 2010.... I am determined to complete this years to make up for missing one. The rules are a bit different this year... check out Terras blog for a full list.... but this year as the rules have changed you'll see things from me i've never included before.... the main difference being you don't have to stamp... you can show any thing you personally make/alter.....  I've always started the hop with something E.A.Poe related.... this year is no different, but you'll see him more often this year as my darling daughter twin #1 brought me a Poe doll for my birthday ... so he'll keep popping up with the daily projects. My 1st project is actually 2x countdown calenders.... like an advent calender but for Hallowe'en not Christmas.

These are made using thick card, designer papers, brads as drawer handles.

This Kraft coloured on does have stamping on every drawer... the swirls and numbers are stamped.

This one just has the numbers written on.

 Each drawer has sweeties in.

​Dream In Darkness I really have been such a flake lately..... so I'll start off with... HDH MACABRE MONDAY We had a minions reunion last week which I joined in with.... Here are the SKULL projects I made for this event.

They're still some of my favourite stamps ever!

The winged skull and all the little 'hex-nuts' are from THINGS TO ALTER

Its quite a transformation...

lots of 'funky foam' embossed foil...sand...mount board ....a spring and paint.

My offering isn't macabre in the slightest...
don't really know what happened...
other than I found hidden in a long forgotten drawer loads of stamps I'd brought and never used.
I stripped an old board book of the girls.....

 ....and did the 1st two pages....

 I stamped and masked loads of the 'Sweetpea' stamps i found...
to make a collage of faces,
I kept the colours limited....

 ..... and stamped the other page with lots of 'good' words.
I used some great grungy stamps too.

Sorry my project is not macabre....
i'll try harder next month!

I had a lovely trip to the US... we really had a wonderful time...

Now its back to reality...

NOVEMBER'S SMUDGY ANTICS CHALLENGE

October was a hectic month with the 31 days of Hallowe'en blog hop,

November should be a little calmer!

We have a new challenge starting today at

SMUDGY ANTICS

as always its ANYTHING GOES....

we do have an optional twist, this month its METAL MADNESS.

My project for the challenge....

I used clay....on a wood heart.... and a gorgeous SMEARED INK real rubber stamps.

To get the metal effect I used Decoart  metallic lustre  and Antiquing creme.
