the theme today is...
THRASHED THURSDAY
You need to create something thrashed, slashed,torn, grunged or decayed.

I've had very little time to do anything creative today so its just an ATC from me....
I think thrashed, slashed and torn about covers it!

  How many of you remember this background stamp from smeared ink?

Hope I make tomorrows challenge.... its getting more difficult as the week goes on!

SMUDGEFEST DAY #3

                               

I really didnt think i'd get this one done...

DAY #3 of this week long challenge and its...

''WET WEDNESDAY''...

YEAH...it really was here ...all afternoon it rained so I played with clay.

Tomorrow you'll see a DT piece from me made of clay...so whilst at it I did a clay project for todays challenge.

Clay is wet.... before it dries.... plus the paint is.... so a double whammy!

 When this finally dried.... air dry clay does not dry very quickly when its a damp kind of day.... so as it was taking ages i put it in the oven at 10pm.... couldnt wait any longer...

even used the oven to dry the various coats of paint!

Anyhow.... this has a tarnished copper effect.... as i thought it went nicely with the 'wet' theme.... the bluey/green colour.

SUDGEFEST DAY #2

So here I am....day #2 and its

TAPE TUESDAY.

We have been challenged to use TAPE on our project for today.

I covered another of my little note books.

 I used torn masking tape layered onto card stock, coloured with distress ink to create a wood effect background

A few faux rusted bits and a lovely SMEARED INK image and my new notebook cover is complete.

 A tiny altered box, a homage to Poe.
