Sorry its a very short post from me today

my darling daughters have given me the tummy bug they had.

I have an altered desk tidy to share today....
a pressie from my dear friend who has come to visit for a few days.
Being a bit stupid I forgot to take a 'before' shot... but please believe me it did come as plain MDF.

After painting the entire thing,
I altered Tim Holtz papers with ink, paint and stamps, and covered it inside and out.
I made a dimention skull from 8 layers of digi stamps fussy cut and dipped in my melting pot.

This will now reside in dining room with all my note books, diarys and planners in....
the largest compartment at the back holds an A4 sized pad easily.

QUOTH THE RAVEN week #2 and DOMINOART

                 We have a wonderful challenge for you at QUOTH THE RAVEN this month,

''RAVING RAVENS''

We're at wk#2 already but because i'm a terrible blogger you'll get to see my wk#1 and wk#2

both together today...Tut tut!!

This was WK#1

I Stamped onto a cotton tee-shirt with stazon using a TH stamp,
then with a fabric pen drew over it to give it more detail... I added lose feathers and a sprinkling of dots
around it.

The 'nevermore' is a smeared ink stamp, stamped with stazon.
I ironed on the reverse of the design to heat set it.

......and this is WK#2

The stamps are all SMEARED INK... coloured with alcohol pens and pencils.

Now my WK#2 project is just the inside of the box lid of an altered game that is my project over at

DOMINOART'S 15 DAYS OF HALF-O-WEEN

HUGE NEWS and NEW CHALLENGE AT SMUDGY ANTICS

Good morning,

We have a new look to the SMUDGY ANTICS CHALLENGE,

as you might or might not be aware, SMEARED INK shall cease trading as from 

MAY 5th 2015.

Because of this the SMEARED INK DT shall become the 

SMEARED AND SMUDGED DT,

We shall continue to produce wickedly alternative art, on the SMUDGY ANTIC'S blog and,

 on our facebook SMEARED AND SMUDGED group

Because of the closure of SMEARED INK we shall from now on,

allow you to enter our challenges  at SMUDGY ANTIC'S with

 any DIGITAL IMAGES or REAL STAMPS.

If you do use a SMEARED INK image on your project,

we shall enter you TWICE in the random draw for the prize at the end of the month,

instead of just once for images from any other company.

We hope you continue to enjoy joining us every month for our challenges at 

SMUDGY ANTIC'S.

We shall change the format slightly.. we'll be having weekly reminder posts rather than daily inspiration,

there will be a RANDOM WINNER every month who shall receive a 

SMEARED INK digi image and a real rubber SMEARED INK stamp...

plus there will be a TOP 3 that will be voted for by the DT.

HOPEFULLY, SMEARED INK shall return in the not to distant future, 

until then we'll keep the SMEARED INK flag flying at SMUDGY ANTICS and on facebook.

MAY 2015  '' ANYTHING GOES''

My project features POE...and skulls.
I played with clay again to make this small heart shaped wall hanger.

I used real rubber stamps from SMEARED INK.....you can still order these stamps but be quick..
the shop closes its doors on 5th MAY.

 I hope to see you at SMUDGY ANTICS this month...
