HALLOWEEN is day #31 and STAMPITCRAZY.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN and HAPPY BIRTHDAY SANDRA.
There is a new challenge starting today at STAMPITCRAZY and its CANDY...... we the DT were given the little guys shading their eyes to work with so i added 'em to a pumpkin patch. I think they are 'M&M's' ......so i added the words at the bottom.... my attempt at humour?!
I used pumpkins i found on the internet, and a lot of cutting and sticking.
Everything is coloured with promarkers....paper and card from my stash.
Please come and join in this week..... CANDY is the challenge.

My HALLOWE'EN offering is this coffin..... i painted it inside and out with black paint.... added this silver coloured dagger to the front and german scrap around the opening edges.... inside....

i added shelves to the deep side..... and a plaque with a great saying and a dancing skeleton to the otherside.

On my shelves are tiny jars, little skulls and diddy little bottles.... i raided my dolls house for supplies! The saying on the plaque reads.... 'If you cant get rid of the family skeleton, you may as well make it dance' ..... i love it!
......and finally a witch fat-book page... and an ATC....both using images from THIRD COAST.... and coloured with watercolours and ink.

Have a great HALLOWEEN..... My girls are now gonna get ready to welcome trick or treaters...... with the oldies i cant take my girls out, but they're having fun getting dressed up and helping with the decs etc.

Day #30 of THE 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN and DELICIOUS DOODLES.

Welcome to the 30th day..... and as its saturday its DELICIOUS DOODLES.... and i have news for ya.... DELICIOUS DOODLES are going to start having a challenge every week starting on friday 19th NOVEMBER..... click on my title and go and become a follower of this soon to start new challenge.

For my offerings today i have used Delicious doodles HALLOWEEN BACKGROUND and THE WATCHER.... all coloured with promarkers and white gel pen for highlights.... the moon and tree branch i drew in. My next offering is a mobile.... sorry the pics are awful..... i used Delicious Doodles SKULL and CROSSBONES...... printed it out 16x.... to make 8 danglers..... i threaded them on to waxed cord and hung a dancing skeleton at the bottom of each one..... just for weight really....

each of the skulls has a different patterned stamped on to it and coloured with promarkers..... the pic below is it hanging outside my craft room...and shockingly is really sunny here at the moment!

My last offering is THE GRIM REAPER...... just coloured with drawing pencils and black ink..... i used a MS punch and black cardstock to finish.

Day #29 of the 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN and TELLENS PLACE

Welcome to day 29 and the new challenge at TELLENS PLACE which is DARK and CREEPY/HALLOWEEN.
I have used a new image from TELLENS PLACE....it'll be in the store now or very soon.... coloured with promarkers and cut out.... .... i used a frame that i inked and distressed.... and added grungy/webby material as a background... i put my cut out image on using silicon so its quite dimentional.

Heres a close-up..... boy is that winged-thing creepy...love him!!!!!

Day #28 of the 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN and STAMPINSANITY and ME!!!!!

Welcome to day #28 and its time for a new challenge at STAMPINSANITY..... SPOOKALICIOUS.... create something using halloween candy colours or something to put sweet-treats in..... so i combined the two. My STAMPINSANITY image is coloured with promarkers and stck to a treat bag i made from sweetie paper..... i used 3D stickers i nicked off the girls.... and thats it done..... but i need about 20 of these so i better get cracking by sunday!

I thought i'd show you a close up.... because although shes a cute image.... she is green.... and has a minx of a smile!

Day #27 of the 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN and SMEARED INK

Welcome to day 27 and and my offering today is a large...for me HUGE.... mixed media piece.
It is about 20x20 inches done onto a stretched box canvas.
I shall try later today to take a photo of it hanging on the wall so you can see it all at once... i am useless at taking pictures and have missed the bottom off.

All the stamps used are from SMEARED INK.... QUOTH THE RAVEN SET.... my total favourite set as i am a POE NUT!

Mr Poe in the centre i copied from the stamped image onto thick hessian and painted in oils.

I cut the front off a plastic skull.... amazingly i didnt cut my own fingers when i did it!

You can see i have used so much stuff on this piece.... the locket opens and closes.... the hands are through the canvas and can clutch the locket open or closed.

I have used scrabble style tiles to spell out my words.

Black feathers on chains... oh loads of stuff.... the ornate scroll thingy at the top i salvaged of my grandads old fire before i took it to the 'tip'...i told him i'd reuse it!


I hope you have time to look at the detail... there is tons of stuff here... i have been working on this for over a week... in bits of cause.... and the texture is just what i wanted.

Day #26 of the 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN and TUESDAY TAGGERS

Welcome to day #26 and as its tuesday its TUESDAY TAGGERS.... and our new challenge has been picked by ...ME....... so its not pink girly and added fru-fru...its HALLOWEEN including DEEP PURPLE.
I wanna thank my teamie ZOE for doing the post and all the technical stuff for me this week...and every week..... ZOE you are STAR....THANK YOU!
I have made yet another box..... painted it deep purple.... distressed it with black paint.... added mesh and ribbon.... and a brilliant image from STRANGE SKIN http://www.strangeskin.com/ ...... coloured with promarkers.
This time i have also made the bracelet to go with it....YAY!

The bracelet is a couple of hundred small beads in black and 3 different purples.... it to attach all these beads.....

Day #25 of the 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN and MACABRE MONDAY.

Today is the 25th day of our 31 days of halloween and its MACABRE MONDAY'S new challenge....and this week its sponsored by SMEARED INK...YAY!!!! So the challenge is SMEARED AND SMUDGED. Big fan of smeared ink me...and not just 'cos i'm on the DT..... I used one of the brilliant WEREWOLF digi images, printed out on to canvas (the same canvas that the sentiment , which is also SMEARED INK, is printed on) in draft....so i had a very faint image as my canvas is quite dark.
I then drew a circle for the moon and set about painting in my image in oil paints....i used a stiff flat brush and my fingers to get the smeared and smudged effect i wanted.
It looks like a real painting... well i suppose it is a real painnting but you get my drift.... it dont look like a digi image anymore!
The pic below shows the detail better.... it has real oil-painting texture.
The frame was bright silver but i toned that down with black alcohol ink... removed the glass and and made a frame mount from some heavy weight textured card.....thats it.

Day #24 of the 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN and STAMPITCRAZY.

Welcome to day #24.... and the new HALLOWEEN challenge at STAMPITCRAZY. You can win the 3 hitch-hikers in rubber or as a digi..... i need RUBBER!!!!
This 3Deasel card is all done with STAMPITCRAZY digis and MS punches. The background is one of Barbs beautiful digi papers.

I coloured my hitch-hikers with promarkers and cut 'em out.... fiddley but worth it!

I love these guys..... i really do need them in rubber!

I've used 3 lots of puched borders..... iron rails and grave yard.... loads of foam pads.... and i nearly forgot.... 'goopy goo' border punch at the top of my scene.... THANK YOU HELEN!!!!!!

Day #23 0f the 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN and DELICIOUS DOODLES

Hello on this horrible wet, windy and cold Saturday...welcome to day #23 and i have 2 projects to share with you guys today, both using images from Teri and you can buy her images here .... http://deliciousdoodles.blogspot.com/
I thought i'd also let you know that Teri has started a blog just to show everyone what can be done with her images and you can find it here http://deliciousdoodlesblog.blogspot.com/
My 1st offering is using the BATTERFLY..... I have tried to make something similar to the victorian butterfly collectors display pieces... with the batterfly pinned to the background.
I have used some crocheted mesh, red tissue, and a scruffy material flower with tatty ribbons....
The frame has been painted and distressed. I layered the body and stuck two pins in it.... with red nail vanish dripping like blood. I stamped 'Exibit A' under the batterfly.

The flower has a large gem in the centre... and tatty ribbons.

I put a spider in the corner....just 'cos i like 'em.

I coloured the image with promarkers and crumpled the tissue before gently distressing with black ink, just to make the crumples show up more.

My next offering is just for a laugh.....

VAMPIRE BUNNY

i used Teri's cute bunny and gave him Vampire teeth and red eyes..... loads of 'blood' done with red nail vanish.... and layered pumpkins i stamped and coloured.... with promarkers. The background is stamped using the same PUMPKIN stamp from INKADINKADOO but just the tendrils.... the background is coloured with promarkers as well.



Now if i can creep-out this cute BUNNY image.... i think i can creep-out just about anything!

I have made a bag.... its about 10x12 inches to store HALLOWEEN treats for the kiddies.
I used 'BOO EDWARD ' coloured with promakers, 3 of CHARLENES buttons , paper from my stash and some fuzzy black cord. Very simple but my girls love it!

Day #21 of the 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN

Welcome to DAY #21..... No DT post today but STAMPINSANITYhttp://stampinsanity.com/blog/ does have a new challenge that ward 2 are doing so please go and check it out and join in if you can.
Anyhows..... today i have something that i just wanted to make!
Yep its a box....but amazingly i have made the necklace to go in it as well!!! The skull stamp is from DIMENTION FORTH.... stamped out 3 times and layered up.
The box is made from scrap thick card, painted and stamped with chicken wire.
The edges are blackened..... and have metallic rub on cream on them.... ok you cant see it to well!

The necklace is made from tiny red and black glass beads.... 8 strings randomly twisted and attached to a chain.
The dangly is large ...black glass.
Here you can see the layers on the skull..... and he has shiny red eyes.
