Tellens place late with this one too

This week at TELLENS PLACE we wanna see FLOWERS in preperation for mothers day... for the Americans amongst you , you have mothers day coming up in early may..... we Brits had ours in March...... so i decorated a T-shirt.... with skulls, which Markus, Tellens places artist drew for me and roses from creative expressions.... the dangly bits are from dimention fourth... the ink splats are the stamp man.... the words are T!m holtz.
I have coloured it with fabric paints which can be washed at 40deg.
Ok.... most mothers wouldnt want to wear it... but i would if it was black!.... can you imagine my nan in it? No? Me neither!

Tuesday taggers SORRY ITS A DAY LATE

I am so sorry that i am late posting my DT project this week for tuesday taggers.... things have been totally chaotic here the last few days and i'm not sure if i'm on my head or my elbow.... thought i'd better be polite!
Michelle my teamie at TT has come up with this challenge and its MEMORIES.
I used paper from my scrap box.... cut the swirls from another scrap, the ribbon is from our christmas cake and the photo is of me.... borrowed from nans old photo tin.... i used rub on letters to add to the large printed M.

Dragonsdream, tag it on.

The theme for the challenge that Frankie set this week is EMBOSS IT. I embossed a piece of black card with a checker board pattern using my wizard.... stamped and heat embossed an ELUSIVE IMAGES heart on kraft paper in black, and shaded the heart with black ink ... cut it out slightly larger than the image so i could distress the edges and stuck it on my black tag. I tied a bit of garden twine round the tag and made a rose from kraft paper and punched some leaves... added a few twiddely bits and thats it. I shall also enter it into OUR CREATIVE CORNER http://www.ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.com/ who want to see blooming blossoms, and STAMP SCRAP AND DOODLE http://ssdschallenge.blogspot.com/ whose challenge this week is to create something GIRLIE...... not many men would want this.

MACABRE MONDAYS and 3 other challenges

The challenge that Barb at MACABRE MONDAYS set this week is WALKING DEAD DIVAS, and STAMPINSANITY http://stampinsanity.com/blog/ want you to CREATE OR ALTER A BOX OR FRAME..... so i combined the 2 challenges ( and then added another 2!) and made this box using a STAMPINSANITY DIGI IMAGE...... which was kindly given to the DT at SMEARED INK this month as STAMPINSANITY are the APRIL SPONSORS AT SMEARED AND SMUDGED.
I coloured this beautiful diva green as she has been dead a while.... both she and the box are more of a winsor purple than the photo shows. Shes coloured with watercolours and dabbed with black ink.... black ink is also smeared all around the box edges.... and its tied with a purple ribbon. I punched flowers from black card and used a purple sequin-thing in the centres... i have used glitter on her belt buckle and hair tie... dont faint!

This picyure shows how i coloured her better..... and the glitter hair tie.... her eyes look like mine this week with grandad having the night-wanders all week.....

This is the box open..... i love these little boxes..... so simple to make ..... just one piece of paper/card folded and a scrap of card to go round as the base/lid. The other challenges i'm entering this into are OTHER LOVERLIES.....Suzanne wants you to use punches this week..... i have used punched flowers. http://otherlovelies-suzanne.blogspot.com/

Tellens place ink distressing.

The challenge at TELLENS PLACE this week is INK DISTRESSING..... well if ever a challenge was for me, this was it... i love ink.... never happier than when my hands are stained with ink, usually black but with this piece i used 3 shades of blue as well as the usual black.
The image is one of TELLENS PLACE NEW CREEPIER IMAGES.... isnt he wonderful? I used TATTERED ANGEL stamps for the background branches.... originally i masked him and stamped over him but i couldnt get him hiding in the branches like i wanted so i had a rethink and stamped the background, printed and coloured him then cut him out precisely... i then laid him on the background and marked where i wanted him perched... i then cut slits in the background, thread bits of him through and glued him in place.
The whole piece is coloured with ink and water colours, with the high lights done with a chinese white pencil.

Tuesday taggers

This weeks challenge at TUESDAY TAGGERS has been choosen by my teamie TERI and the theme is DRAGONS.... well no one loves dragonS more than me.... so i altered this set of drawers for myself.... all the DRAGON stamps used are from THIRD COAST..... the crackle stamp is T!m Holtz and the fine borders are...? I really cant remember! The paint is a match pot from Homebase special effects.... its really lovely in real-life.... well it was until i smeared it all in black stazon!

I have used for my tag one of the new images from TELLENS PLACE http://www.tellensplacedesigns.com/ i've been waiting for what seems forever to be able to use these fantastic images.... you'll be seeing lots of them over the coming weeks.
I masked my image and stamped a back ground.... i added some more hills to the ELUSIVE IMAGE STAMP.... everything is coloured with inks and water colours... high lights are done with chinese white pencil.

MACABRE MONDAYS.....SMEARED INK DT

The challenge this week at MACABRE MONDAYS is to make a gift box.... and i needed to make something a little 'special' for my DT piece with SMEARED INK'S ELEMENTALS stamps... so here it is.... the box is an origami-folded base... much easier than i though... using recycled brown paper from the centre of a roll of gift wrap....and piece of scrap black card wrapped around it. I stamped directly on to my base after it was folded. I cut some brown card to size and stamped the Earth goddess on..... the swirls on the sides are just a part of the water goddess stamp... her hair i think. I made the rose and leaves from the scraps.... a couple of holes and some ribbon to hold it shut... box done.
BUT what goods a gift box with no gift...? So i made a pendant from a domino.... its the same SMEARED INK -ELEMENTALS goddess.... stamped in stazon, with a little colour from makers added very roughly as i wanted a misty feel to it.... sprayed with vanish to seal.
My DAD patiently sat one day and drilled holes in 28 dominos for me... thanks dad!.... so i added a chain directly though the domino.... stuck velvet on the back... done.

Barb at MACABRE MONDAYS has honoured me and OZ with the title of GT MISTRESS'S..... I love being a GRUESOME TWOSOME.... THANK YOU Barb.... i am chuffed to bits.
Oh i nearly forgot... i added tiny gems whilst the vanish was still wet just to look pretty... i must be getting girly!

Tellens place... and NEWS!!!!!

Well its wednesday and at TELLENS PLACE we have a new challenge......this week it is ATC's.... yep thats it... you just need to make an ATC.... anything you like as long as its 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".
I have made a set of 6 in a wallet... made from 3X C6 ENVELOPES.... dead easy.... fold 'em in half, stick 'em together.... add ribbon.... you know... easy peasy. This is the wallet and inside are the ATC's...... and this is the NEWS..... TELLENS PLACE are gonna be selling MARKUS'S creepy images......... very soon.... very very soon..... I have had ;em for a while and i am totally devoted to them.... i am not a digi lover but these i love with a passion.... so keep an eye on TELLENS PLACE for the release date and watch this space as there are lots more to come.

My camera has been misbehaving so the photo backgrounds are a strange colour.... think its a little stressed out like me!

You can click on the pictures and have a good look at the images... remember you colour them as you want.... i wanted a limited colour pallet as i had this background paper ready made.... by me and the girls and wanted to use it..... its acrylic paints... dabbed and splashed... the images are water coloured.

Tuesday taggers

This weeks theme at TUESDAY TAGGERS has been choosen by my teamie EMMA as its her birthday this week and its CAKES AND BALLOONS.
I useds pink again..... i really dont think i'm well.... and teamed it with black and white.
I used a piece of pink'n'white scrap book paper and over stamped .... coloured in with sukura pens.... stamped, coloured and cut out a cupcake and attached it with 3d foam on top of a little bit of pink mesh.... i tied a knot through the tags hole with the same mess stuffs, inked all the edges.
No idea where the stamps come from.... they are clear... thats all i know... they predate my filing system! What system?

Dragonsdream, tag it on.

The Dragon is back doing her own challenges at DRAGONS DREAM.... and i am so pleased that she, Frankie, feels well enough to dream her own dreams at the moment.
The challenge this week is IN THE CITY..... and Frankie would like to see .... doors or windows, houses or streets....
mine is a church doorway seen through railings....... its all stamped and coloured with watercolours.... the only stamp i used that i know where it comes from are the eyes and they are from THIRD COAST. The bird is a bit 'cute' but its the only flying bird i could find small enough.

Dear Frankie is the kind soul.... with questionable taste ,who showcased my work on Inspirational... Thank you FRANKIE.... i really dont deserve the honour.

Barb's challenge this week.... i hope i'm in time.... was to have a FISH on your card ..... and a smart ass remake.....
The fisherman stamp is one of Barb's at STAMPITCRAZY.... and the large bass is from SCRAPZ.
The background paper i have had laying around for donkeys years.... i cut the hat,net and bag from it to decorate the bottom of this easel card..... the images are coloured with watercolours and ink.

Tellens place

This weeks challenge at TELLENS PLACE is ALL ABOUT YOU.... i would love you all to take it literally and do something about you but it can be just an open theme and just what you want to do.
Markus.... TELLENS PLACE's artist did a drawing of each of the DT.... and gave us each our own image.... i thought my image was far to pretty and cute to be me but as soon as my girls saw it they said... cor mum thats you! So maybe its more like me than i thought!
I coloured me with promarkers... black and shades of dark grey.... i only wear black... no other colours... saves hassle picking what to wear in the morning! I coloured the flowers red as i love poppies.... my fav flower.... and did my hair in shades of brown and red.... i do have waist length auburn hair... although it has flashes of silver in it.... ok i'm going grey!
I stamped all over a door hanger i had pre=cut,with various stamps coloured with inks and watercolours.... i stamped on the circle i had cut out of the top.... 'I WANT TO LIVE OUT LOUD' ans stuck that on with foam pads.
This grungey door hanger is ME.... in my colours and shall hang on my door.... now if that dont scare the kids away. NOTHING will!

I met Georgina a few weeks ago and she told me she likes witches so i made this tag with her in mind.The very sassy witch is from THIRD COAST STAMPS and the spiders are INKADINKADOO. Its all coloured with water colours and ink, and mounted onto a piece of distressed black card.
I shall also enter it in MACABRE MONDAYS.... FREAKERS FREE-FOR-ALL.

EASTER EGGS.....

I was 'challenged' on saturday by the dear, sweet.... but crazy Jean... http://deepblackartbyartdoll.blogspot.com/ to join her in decorating some eggs.... these are what i came up with.
These are real eggs that i 'blew', the lilac, pink and white ones are painted the other... second from the left is just a normal brown egg.... i stamped images onto very thin artists tissue paper... coloured them with promarkers, and ink... then cut them out... stuck them on with watered down pva then vanished over the top..... i threaded beading wire through them to make hangers, and added beads at the bottom.
My nan hated them so we didnt have them hanging up yesterday.... but my dad actually seemed to like them.... he took these photos for me yesterday afternoon as i just couldnt do it.
All the images are BOMB SHELL STAMPS except the winged heart on the white egg and thats ASPECTS OF DESIGN from the STAMPMAN.
Bet your eggs didnt look like these!

Rosie Dee's challenge

Tje challenge for the next 2 weeks at Rosiedees challenge has been picked by me.... and i chose BLESSINGS..... and as this is Easter weekend i went with the religeous blessing but it can be anything you feel blessed with or by.
I made a stampbord pendant.... threaded with ribbon and silver beads.
The image is stamped and coloured then triple embossed to give a glass like finish.
See i'm not always dark and moody.... i do have another side that most people never see.
