corrosive challenge... sunday gone

This is my DT piece for sunday gone... i am sorry its late but this week has just disappeared on me with all the visitors and visiting thats gone on.
The challenge is NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS..... something i never do as i always break em.... but this year 2010 is gonna see a lot of changes for me.... have crafty things in the pipeline, and changes in my personal life are coming as well so i have one very simple resolution for myself and all my blogging buddies..... LOVE AND BE LOVED.

TUESDAY TAGGERS DT....late again

This should have been posted on tuesday.... yep TUESDAY TAGGERS .... is on a tuesday.... sorry.
The theme this week is 'LET IT SNOW' ...... i was a little fed up with christmas images so i used one of my 'darker' ones and gave him a red cloak.... and used texture paste for the snow.... image is stamped and coloured wlth ink and the background is just watercolours swished about.

corrosive dt card

The challenge this week over at 'CORROSIVE' is 'BLINGY'..... well as i am the least blingy person in the whole wide world this was a tough one for me.... but heres what i came up with.... my dad and step-mums christmas card! All done in black and silver.... ribbon, gems, glitter, silver snow flakes.... the lot and not an inked edge to be had.

Tellens place

The challenge last wednesday ay tellens place was choosen by me..... and its to use a black base for what ever you create.... the image i used is one of 'Tellens' and its a really cute goth girl.
I masked the digi image and stamped the background and inked it... i masked and stamped the image so that her clothes are patterned and her boots look as if they have a mesh over-lay.
I used a TANDA STAMPS skull and candle and finished it with a sentiment.

Bad dt member and blogger!

I am so sorry all you tuesday taggers.... this is my atc for the 'jolly old st nick challenge' from last tuesday..... the new challenge is anounced tomorrow and i SHALL remember to do my post in the morning.

MACABRE MONDAYS on sunday

The challenge this week at MACABRE MONDAYS is WINTERY WRAITHS
this is my very late very quick entry.... all stamped, coloured with pencils and ink.... i used white acrylic paint to 'dab' a pale area in the door then stamped a 'wraith'.... i have includes a close up incase your eyes are as bad as mine.... i can hardly see her without my glasses!!!
This ATC i have called 'coming home for christmas....'

MACABRE MONDAYS on sunday

Yet another week when its sunday before i get to macabre monday challenge... which this week is 'SPOOKY SPRITES'
My little sprite isnt very spooky except for hes green.... but he is naughty... you can tell by the smile.
I've used a stamp from Destempelwinkel and spooky tree from inkadinkdo... ink and watercolour pencils.

Winter wonderland

This atc is my entry this week for winter wonderland challenge.... which is 'Nativity'.
It is stamped... of cause.... lots of black ink smudged about the edges but to make it a bit more christmassy i added a red ribbon and a 3d ponsettia.

TELLENS PLACE

This weeks challenge at TELLENS PLACE is choosen by Tanisha.... and its paper piecing.... something i've done with real stamps but never before with a digi image.... after a lot of head scratching cos i'm so technically challenged that i cant even print images out ,that the images i have already printed (i have a friend who does my printing for me when she visits) i had to cut one up and trace it to use as a template.... anyhow... my card is very touchy -feely... green flock paper and pink and red velvet paper.... red bows with beads in the centre.... all very tactile as i made it with my old blind aunt in mind and she loves it when i make hersomething 'to feel'

Tuesday taggers and opsrey image winner

Sorry i'm a day late..... the challenge this week at TUESDAY TAGGERS is the CHRISTMAS TREE.... so heres yet another ATC... elusive image stamp embossed with 'lisa's frost' embossing powder on black then matted onto matt silver.

I hope everyone enjoyed the blog hop on sunday and monday.
It was the 1st ever blog hop i've done or been involved in.... i really enjoyed looking round everyones blog at the lovely projects done with TERI'S digistamps.... her images are so diverse.
On to the winner of the osprey image.... it was all done in a very scientific way.... all names were written on pieces of paper and put in an old biscuit tin.... then my nan pulled one out.... all very scientific!!!!!

SOPHISTICATS CHALLENGE

The challenge at SOPHISTICATS this week took me about 2million miles out of my comfort zone.... Lisa choice of challenge is.... A VERSE and FLOWERS.....NO IMAGE!!!!
Well this is it.... white embossed card... gold mirri card, gold foiled verse from one of last years Christmas cards and leaves punched from white glitter card and gold mirri card. I also used 3 paper rose buds, 3 sml white silk flowers and 3 punched flowers plus tiny little white silk flower heads..... how unlike me is this????.... oh nearly forgot 3 gems in the corner.... i am now having black ink withdrawal symptoms... better go and get my fix now.

CORROSIVE DT CARD

Well i am now on the DT for CORROSIVE CHALLENGES.... the link is on my side bar.... its a 3month stint as Janet chages her team every quater.... I have tried to join in as may of the challenges i can, ever since i started blogging 7 months ago.... so i'm chuffed to bits to be on the team this time round.

MACABRE MONDAYS

The challenge this week at MACABRE MONDAYS is 'WITCHY WOMAN'.... heres my offering... made a background with watercolours then stamped my images in black.... dont remember where i got the lady. but the bats are inkadinkadoo. I coloured the witches dress in turquoise watercolour pencil so i can also enter her in a challenge where my good friend avril is on the dt... it the 1st challenge at EASY CRAFT PROJECTS... make something that has TURQUOISE on it... not sure what they think of my witch but hey....
anyhow... i've smudged black ink round the edges as usual.... and thanks for taking time to look.

TELLENS PLACE....challenge #3

Well its week 3 at Tellens place and the challenge is 'love, hearts, valentines.... but also you have to use pink and red'
Pink i ask you? Its bad enough for me doing a love theme, but pink!!!! The challenge was picked by my friend Lisa (boss of sophisticats challenge) and i'm sure shes just testing me.
I used a Tellens place digi image coloured with promarkers, the background is a t!m holtz stamp, the heart in the centre has been glazed then cracked.... i like that effect.... and yes i did do it deliberately... it wasnt accidental! I found some very tiny hearts and stamped them on his hat, and stamped and cut out another heart and placed it under his arm so it looks as if hes taking his dearest a box of choccies.
Of cause i used coipious amounts of ink on the edges and sponged over the image... and the sentiment is as romantic as i get.... 'YOU'RE AWESOME........ in small doses'... good hey?

TUESDAY TAGGERS DT ATC

The challenge this week at TUESDAY TAGGERS is CAROLS.
I made yet another atc.... might put it away for lucy next year.
I used a stamp of pretty victorian children that look to me as if they are gonna break into song, masked it and then stamped with another stamp the words and holly background.
Its all coloured with ink and water colour pencils and i have triple embossed it to make it look like a tile.

SOHPISTICATS CHALLENGE

The challenge this week at SOPHISTICATS is SNOWFLAKES and SPARKLE.... I know, not my thing really but as i'm on the DT i thought i'd better give it my best shot and this is what i came up with.
I used card from my stash and instead of my usual black ink i used white acrylic paint around the edges. I punched leaves from glitter card and used silk flowers, snow flakes punched from same card as the leaves and paper roses to make the 3 flowers... i added stickles... yes i did add sparkle... and some gems.... sta,ped merry christmas in blue in tne top right hand corner and just run the ink pad round the every edge.
